AC Milan in talks with Arsenal over Fabregas
There are reports in Italy today that the AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani spent the weekend in London after watching the Champions League Final, and pre-arranged a meeting with a representative of the Arsenal board.
SportItalia reckon that Galliani has made contact with Arsenal to fnd out exactly what price the club will agree on for them to discuss details with the player himself. Do you notice that they are taking the legal route rather than the blatant tapping up we are used to from Barcelona?
Milan finally took the Serie A title back from Inter this season, but they know they need to seriously improve the team if they want to go the next step and really challenge for the Champions League trophy, and they believe that Fabregas could be the catalyst for success.
Only Arsene Wenger and Fabregas himself knows what has been discussed between themselves, but if Wenger persuaded his captain to stay for one more year, then a serious bid from someone other than Barcelona may persuade the Gunners to sell and reinvest the money.
I doubt there are many Arsenal fans would complain if he went to Milan. Or am I wrong?

For me, Cesc is our leader and one of the best in football, he also loves Arsenal. We have to keep him in the team, otherwise we treat him with respect and let him go where he wants, and i think he wants to go to Barçelona

No, I wouldn’t complain. If he plays the way he’s been playing this season, then I’d rather he goes. Nasri to move back to the Fabregas role so he won’t be missed. He played only about 22 out of 38 league games so if he stays, his price might come down to 15 m pounds. But NOT to Barcelona. Milan? Ok

Hello arsenal fans I saw this article and decided to read the comments.not trying to be an ass but some of you guys underestimate Milan as we didn’t really sign anyone for a few years after we won the CL until this year. but really incase you guys didn’t know our owner is the prime minister of Italy and a huge billionaire and he promised a massive signing if we won the scudetto which we did. plus we got money for winning anyway and we just got rid of our best creative mid pirlo. so we can easily afford him, last year everybody said we couldn’t sign anyone over 15mil and we got ibra robinho and in January cassano and van bommel and now we already have taiwo an mexes. so basically I’m just telling milans perspective on this transfer. what worries me is that he really wants barca, but why go there and sit the bench or come to Milan for three years,win some trophies,and go to barca when xavi leaves. Milan never keeps players against their will(sheva kaka pirlo).

Why doesn’t Wenger just sell Cesc to Barcelona and get Villa in return, Villa has had a terrible season there and it would be a good bit of business just like when Mourinho swapped Ibrahimovic with Eto’o and look what Eto’o did for Inter….anyways thats what I would do but Wenger must remove his stubborness or make it 7 seasons with no trophies

Fabregas will leave Arsenal as soon as possible, because he want to win trophys. And therefore he will he leave for a club which can win trophy.

1.adil rami from lille he is very good in air n strong.
2.charlie adams he’s good in free kick as i don’t have pace in my ball.
3.lucas podaski is better winger n can play as strike when rvp is not there.
4.agureo/hulk, if hulk we can plat theo upfront along with rvp.

I think Cesc’s heart isnt in the game anymore,not like the way it used to be anyway. As much as I would love to cling onto him, without his passion for arsenal, hes useless; I think hed only go to Barcelona though; thats the only reason he wants to leave! Honestly why do some people suggest that we sell Fabregas. I don’t care if we get 100 million for him, Wenger will never spend that much. It completely goes against the philosophy of Arsenal. I started supporting Arsenal in 2008 when I got into football. I only supported Arsenal because we played the beautiful game and were the only english team to do it. If I wanted someone spending 100s of million pounds I would support Man city or Chelsea.
Also who do you think we should buy to replace Fabregas? No one is good enough. Only Xavi and he isn’t going to get better.
We need to keep both Fabregas and Nasri and adopt the true Barcelona approach to football. Get rid of wilshere in the midfield. Sure he is great and very talented for his age but our midfield is not full of that creative trickery that Iniesta provides for Barca. That is what Nasri will provide. Wilshere should be played when we want to be a bit more defensive or we need a hard working player. Fabregas and wilshere can rotate if needs be.

If he comes to Milan, We will be as good as Barca. Fabregas=Xavi, VBommel>Busquets, Boateng<Iniesta. Midfield is at par with Barca's. And Robinho, Pato, Cassano & Ibra options are as good as Villa, Messi and Bojan(KID). As for defense, nesta and silva are comparable to puyol and pique. Only Dani Alves is a difference, but Abate is prospering.

Please sell him to Milan-Real madrid, Barca are annoying me with these 30mil-35mil bids he’s worth 45M+. I like Fabregas but after this season I think he should be sold he’s played poor all season scored like 5 goals, and is always injured he’s missed to many important games… FA cup, Carling cup, and when he does finally play against barca he gives the ball away to let them score and plays rubbish. Personally I don’t think cesc wants to leave or really be disrespectful to Arsenal. He is just upset because he does not win anything, if he really wanted to push for a move he would put in a transfer request. Nasri the “hero” is pulling all kinds of contract stunts that cesc has never and look at the overall win per centage Arsenal have with and without cesc its like a 30 per cent difference. That’s hard to replace. He won Euro and the World cup and had to watch his teammates blow the Carling cup while injured, that is frustrating. Cesc loves Arsenal and we just being to hard on him. Players pull stunts, Tevez, Rooney did but their supports forgave them why not cesc ? And he won’t go to Milan
