Alex Oxlade Chamberlain – Good Enough For England But Not For Arsenal!
Last night Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a hat-trick for the England Under-21′s against Iceland and his performance has earned him high praise from his international boss Stuart Pearce.
‘Psycho’ as Pearce is more commonly known spoke to Sky Sports News about Oxlade-Chamberlain and said, “He gave us a real cutting edge. He is a real great talent and good team member, he is really level-headed. For anyone scoring a hat-trick on international duty it is obviously very pleasing.”
It is very pleasing and us Gooners have already seen a glimpse of what he can do. His performances have not gone unnoticed by the England senior boss Fabio Capello either who only last week said, “I have been impressed with him. He is a really interesting player. He is a good player, who has a lot quality and is playing at a really high level. He will be a really interesting player for the next friendly games before the Euros, which hopefully will happen for us.”
After last night the pressure will be on Arsene Wenger to include him in our next game let alone Fabio Capello for England’s next friendly.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is flattered to be linked to the senior squad but realises he still has a job to do for the Under-21′s. He said, “I am concentrating on Under-21s at the moment. I am not with the seniors at the moment so I am focused on what I am doing at the moment with Stuart Pearce’s side. That would be nice in the future but, as I said, I am focused on this.”
Do you think he will be called into the England senior squad for the potential friendlies with Spain and Holland? Right now we just want to see him terrorising the defences of sides in the Premier League and the England side of things can take a back seat. An England full debut before a full Arsenal one in the Premier League. Surely not.
He may be young and have plenty still to learn, but he is used to winning and winning becomes a habit, as does losing. Lets see what he can do in the first team, and there is no better time than next weekend against Sunderland.

Unlike Walcott the ox has not been brain washed yet that raw talent that Walcott had at southhamton has not been smothered out off the ox yet,he may have an eye for goal but give it time and he will be brain washed into passing the ball to death.Remember the best winger Arsenal ever had Robert Pires what an eye for goal,he must have just chosen not to listen to Wenger(lol).Hope im wrong but just look at Walcott and Arshavin

wilshere played 49, i think, games… he proved that he is excellent… but he also proved that if you overuse a young player he gets injured and if you do it repeatedly he becomes injury prone… he needs to bring AOC slowly in order for him to become a good and injury free player… walcott, wilshere, van persie, all good examples of what i am saying… wenger knows what he is doing don’t worry, i know you like to be big bad haters over the internet, but you know that wenger is usually right…

another issue Y IN THE F*CK has park not played. all i have 2 say “south korea vs poland 2-2″ u can figure out who scored both of south korea’s goals. while park n ox play their hearts out 2 get on the arsenal bench. arshavin can’t cover more than 5km’s of distance on the pitch n i really question whether he actually turns up 4 training, he must laugh his way 2 the bank 4 the wages his getting n the size of his gut. while gervinho is as useless as nasri was, (when he was off form that is) it’s amazing when u can take on 3 defenders n the keeper but how about PUTTING THE F#CKING BALL IN THE NET n walcott seems 2 be protesting against playing on the wing as all he did against the SPUDS was take shots rather then his actual job which is crossing 2 RVP n swapping flanks/positions with van n gervinho 2 open up the spuds defence. SORT IT OUT ARSENE p.s. did miyachi die?

I think OXO cubes won’t be played that much in the league because of the deal negotiated based on Prem appearences for us in his 1st year and therefore rise in his cost to us and nothing else….
As for the rest of the team and GaziDoes….we Arsenal supporters want to win the league MOFO and no less…Don’t care about business models and the rest of your waffle…. Win the titles then eveything else will automaticallly be in place!

Malik,i agree on Park and Arshavin but Arsene has got it all wrong with Walcott,we need two in the box when we are losing why just look for Persie all the time what did he do against the scum,Ledley had him in his pocket all game and it’s looks like the Henry situation all over again give it to him so he can score everyone needs to take more shots.

wenger would rather feature benayoun, rosicky, chamack… thanthe great ox or myachi… That is why I don’t trust wenger anymore.
IT is true that we lack quality in our squad, but with wenger choice it makes us think that the lack is even greater.

FORMATION AND MENTALITY SHOULD BE CHANGED FROM TIME TO YIME PERIOD. LOOK AT MESSI – HE SHOOTS FROM OUTSIDE BOX GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY SO DOES VILLA, INIESTA, PEDRO ETC. PIQUE AND PUYOL BOOT THE BALL TO THE STANDS WHEN WINNING BUT ARSENAL ALWAYS TRY TO DO DIFFICULT STUFF AND LOSE CHEAP GOALS. this kid will make it big despite what wenger does…quality will shine through!…wenger should have played him against the spuds….a bit of a rough game but he would have done well.He is already more useful than walcott…he has similar pace and knows how to use the ball as well.Hopefully a new manager will use our great prospects to the best of their potential, im sorry to add that under wenger they will just get despondant.

I wish Wenger looks at these comments once in a while to get different point of views. At times, AW gets really in to the game and forgets he is the manager to prepare changes and shuffle the players’ positions to counter opponents. He does not seem to pay attention to the changes the opponent team makes and that proved to be costly. Sometimes players could have a bad day and when that happens AW should be able to sense that and take out that player before he gets injured trying to compensate to his sluggish performance. Here is my idea of Arsenals first team, assuming Diaby and Vermealen are returning as planned:
Schezny
Coquelen Mertsenger Vermaelen Gibbs
AOX Song/Rosicky Diaby/Arteta Miyachi
RVP/Theo Gervinho/Young
As far as the subs conserned, the 3 mentioned in the above list plus Koscielny, Santos, Benayou, and Szczesny. These will make Arsenal more stable.

Arsenal transformed one of the most talented players in the world Theo Wacott into an mere average player. I think he will leave soon! Its a shame but the state of Arsenal currently is not a healthy one! I can already hear his first press conference after he left: “I was starting to stagnate at Arsenal but Wenger was like a dad to me. Thank you” The story of Arsenal!

I think the reason Wenger constantly plays the same formation is because of the hideous amount of midfielders we have. He is trying to keep them all happy by rotating but we need more quality rather than quantity.
Song, Frimpong, Coquelin, Diaby, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta. 8 players that all play in the centre of midfield and we have denilson and lansbury out on loan. I dont think even man city have that amount.

Some of these fans are morons. U are usually day dreaming about English players. Did we not see the England team on Friday. What happened to shooting on target to all of non Arsenal players on view. Rooney & Walcott were the only players who were trying to take on players albeit with little success. You have to hold the ball for atleast 5 seconds to play tippy tappy as u joke about arsenal. Were the English team holding the ball and taking any of the very good players of Montenegro. Stop frustrating yourselves with things that u don’t believe because it is not going to work on any of the real Arsenal fans. We know what we get from Wenger and that is beautiful football the way it should be played. You seem to love Stoke and other rough teams playing and I am sure you would not watch it on your own free time. The chelsea reject Parker and Barry were so slow that getting back the ball to the defenders was their only art. We are sick with the English talent and don’t try to throw your frustrations on us. Let them look good by hiding among the foreigners in the major teams in England. The English players are too scared and very emotional to do it on their own.
