Imagine if we pay it off early and can call it Ashburton Grove again. Look guys, I am certain that we only need a couple of players and we will be where we want to be. Chamakh on a free. Yaya-Toure for about 12m Tusci for about 12m and a good keeper that is willing to not start every game. Then promote szczesny to first team keeper and Gibbs to first team left back. His last 2 proper signings cost around £25m for 2 players. Is it really worth paying £7m for a player that is out of contract at the end of the season and hasn't really been that great in the current one (Chamakh). Is it worth going for a player for £13m that still hasn't proven his worth yet (Remy). To be fair looking at the performance this season of a lot of the players we have been linked with (and linked with in the transfer window) makes sense.
