Are Arsenal Planning January Raid For Moroccan Playmaker?
During the summer Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt was one of the names being mentioned in the press when it came to players moving to Arsenal. As we know nothing happened, but today the rumours have started up again.
QPR boss Neil Warnock expected Taarabt to leave in the summer and Taarabt himself was talking up his chances of moving to Arsenal or Chelsea. Back in July Warnock said, “As far as his talk of wanting to go to Chelsea or Arsenal, I know he has a lot of friends at Arsenal. I’m more inclined into thinking he will be going rather than staying. He has that many advisors and they’re all pushing him to leave. My advice to him is to stay until Christmas, get some experience and show people what he can do.”
Well so far this season Taarabt has hardly set the world on fire after impressing last season when he scored 19 goals in leading QPR to the Championship title. QPR made numerous additions to their squad over the summer and Taarabt may now find himself down the pecking order at Loftus Road.
Website Caught Offside say that Arsenal are planning to lure Taarabt to the Emirates in January as Neil Warnock and QPR are reportedly chasing David Beckham. £10million was mentioned in the summer, but now after a handful of Premiership games the Moroccan’s price has some how shot up to £12million!
Creative midfielders continue to be the talking point amongst the fans, but I bet Adel Taarabt was not mentioned much, if hardly at all. He may be a good player, but have Arsenal been reduced to buying players other clubs do not want?

Screw this. Why the hell are we buying CHAMPIONSHIP KIDS at 12 million? FFS, Clichy, who is an Invincible and French International, was sold for 7.
Oxlade-Chamberlain upset prices.
Also, we did ok this summer, don’t go back to kids. Just get better experience.

Taarabt is good and has a potential to become great. His weakness for me is sometime holding the ball too long. However, he’s the cheaper playmaker option in comparison to Kaka, Mario Goetze or Eden Hazard. Knowing our AW, he’ll definitely prefer cheaper option in Taraabt.

Hope to see Goetze in red and white. The kid is amazing! He plays with huge energy, he can cut through defenses like a sharpe blade. He is exactly what we need. He’s direct, exciting to watch and can up the tempo of a match which we no longer able to do.

I’d much rather see Douglas-costa or van der vaart if those rumors are true. Both can create and finish for themselves and set others up. Defense should be priority #1 though

Everything require to the Emirate is all about better Xperience player irrespective of having a friend at the club or whatever, but just to work hard for Arsenal. So if he can & ready to work, i think no problem.

Taarabt would be a brilliant signing, good playmaker, can take it around defenders and actually shoots from outside the box at a high standard!
