Arsenal are still missing the passion of Jack Wilshere…..
All Arsenal fans have been acutely aware of the fact that our midfield dynamo has been missing for the whole season so far. Jack Wilshere was overplayed last season, whether due to necessity or carelessness is still up for debate, and was run into the red zone. He then picked up a stress facture is pre-season and has since suffered a set back. This is obviously a disappointing run of events for Arsenal (and England) fans, but I think that we have forgotten why he is so important to us.
In my opinion, the most important thing, which he brings to us, is, simply, passion. There is not enough of this in the modern game. There are too many players with fickle tendencies. Just look at Nasri, for example, I can remember is the second last game of the season, he posted on twitter that the loved AFC and, just a few games earlier, he celebrated by kissing his badge. Only three months later, he left the club for money. Wilshere, on the other hand, is Arsenal blood through and through. This is shown by his unadvisable ‘playing through the pain’ last season as well as his 100% commitment in every attack, every challenge and every game.
Of course, he also has footballing prowess which aids us to no end; he, as Wenger said recently, gives us drive in the midfield with his darting runs forward. He is a natural passer, much like Cesc, who can spot a pass who no one else can. Admittedly, we didn’t see too much of this last season as played a deeper role. This brings me to his next great quality: his defensive grit. He brings with him a typical English ‘no nonsense’ attitude, which is almost as important as his passing play.
However, as I have said on many occasions, he is not a world beater yet. He has had performances that show that he can produce such performances (e.g. the Barcelona games last season) but must show that he can repeatedly produce these performances to be placed in league with Xavi and Fabregas. For that reason, I wouldn’t put too much pressure on him as that would lead to poorer performances from him and disappointment from us….

I agree with that. I think he has the potential to be the soul of this club (like a Gerard in Liverpool)
Top Gooner!. Agree or not?:

I just wonder who is the next jack or cesc. cos with wengers reluctance to spend big what we need is a cesc replacement. for me the dream midfield would be mvila wilshire and hazard. i think we ahould sacrifice some of our 88 players to make thhat happen. then put together 2 more midfields as back up. arteta ramsey coquelin frimpong song and lansbury wpuld complete my 9 man midfield squad to rip it up next season. i them want a 9 man squad of attackers. rvp walcott gervinho chamberlain afobe and ryo to ne joined by podolski sturridge and henry will do for me with joel campbell coming in for henry the following season. in defence i want 12 3 for each position. samba and vertonghen to jpin sagma koscielny jenkinson mertesacker djourou bartley miqel vermaelen santos and gibbs. finally a top deputy keeper to rival szcesney with martinez becoming 3rd choice. just 8 signings to replace almunia fabianski mannone hoyte squillaci botelho denilson diaby rosicky benayoun galindo eastmond arshavin chamakh park bendtner murphy vela. 8 in 18 out with the saved wages pay the top stars what they are worth. is it so hard?
Opinions divided. What do you think?

Jack Wilshere! Be back fit and strong! He is a centre role not an attacking midfielder or an out box to box type of player. he is a good passer. n cn cntrul the midfield. arteta is more as an holding midfielder where song position is.song is a good centre back. he hold the ball too long. but good vision. i wnt wenger to try the lineup if evryone is available;
cesny
