Arsenal Available At 5/1 To Beat Chelsea On Saturday
Back to back Premiership wins have done wonders for the confidence and league position of Arsenal but a trip to Chelsea is testing at the best of times, especially when you’re not at full strength, and the bookies make Chelsea the hot favourites to inflict a fifth loss of the season on the Gunners.
Chelsea have won all four of their home games this season whilst Arsenal have picked up just one point from some difficult and some winnable away matches so far. Arsenal’s away record is going to have to improve to get something here but you can be sure the players will raise their game and perhaps the odds of 16/5 on the draw and 5/1 on an Arsenal victory underestimates the Gunners a little. Chelsea do have to go down as the most likely winners though and they can be backed at 4/6 to win this one.
Arsenal have three wins from the last ten games at Stamford Bridge, there have also been three draws in that time which suggests that previous matches have been very even between the teams, that adds to the theory that Arsenal could be overpriced for this game at 5/1 at the time of writing.
The highlight of this season so far has certainly been the fitness and form of Robin Van Persie, if he stays fit for the whole season he could certainly end up top goalscorer in the Premiership, he already has seven goals in nine games and is now just 9/1 to finish the season as the league’s top scorer. In the short term he looks a good bet to score against Chelsea on Saturday, he is 15/2 to score first which is a big price but the 2/1 on Van Persie scoring at anytime looks a great bet considering Chelsea have not kept a clean sheet in the league since their opening game against Stoke. That stat also suggests that both teams to score is a good bet for this match at 3/4.
Arsenals recent run of results means they are now fully back in the running for a top four finish, the bookies makes them 12/5 to finish in the top four and that price could be much shorter if Arsenal beat Chelsea. Is 12/5 good value for yet another top four finish? Will Arsenal get something from Stamford Bridge on Saturday? Let us know your thoughts.
Arsenal’s official bookie, Paddy Power, will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score & scorecast singles on the game if there’s a Red Card in this match. A £200 free bet on top of this makes Paddy Power an attractive bookie to place your bets with this weekend.

You guys are really getting ahead of yourselfs saying where going to win. we have lost to utd, liverpool and tottrenham this season in which games people on here said we will win and look what happened.
Even though we can win as i feel our team is just about the same as theres our full backs are going to let us down and costs us the game tomorow.(I hope not)
lets hope we win tomorow but realistically wenger will set his team up to draw the game.
i know i ll get a lot of instant dislikes on this comment but everyone on here is getting their hopes up to high .
If we couldnt beat them last season away what chance do we have now>?

If we avoid errors at the back we will win. Recent Chelsea wins against us were self-inflicted!

It will be a very difficult match but with Bosingwa & Drogba out and Terry in a world of Sh*t I see us taking it to them with our confidence rising and our new players constantly improving. It’s important RVP receives the support from the wings/midfield and Wenger won’t change Mertersacker & Koscienly as CB’s, they have done well so far so he won’t want to disturb that connection. TV5 will be in LB with Djourou in RB, Ramsey, Song, Arteta in MF with Gervinho & Walcott supporting RVP. Arshavin, Park, Chamberlain & Benayoun will be on the bench with Fabianski & Santos.
Come on Gunners UNITE! Let’s get three points and hope Spuds, Newcastle and the Manchester clubs all fail miserably! Muahahahaha!

From last 5 to 6 years we start well and remain title contenders untill late in the season and then finish 3rd or 4th ..but now we are competing for 4th palce fron the start..and we might end up on 5th or 6th hope I m wrong..this is not gud..we should have our ambitions high..so hope for the best and let’s beat chelsea tomorrow..

i just don’t understand when walcott is gonna take his chances and become a man i think if he doesn’t play well the left flank of chelsea are gonna kill our right flank mata vs djourou and cole vs theo see the odds that’s our weakest point in the game but then again u can never predict theo he is as good as thierry on his day

Chelsea fans were up in arms over their proposed move away from Stamford Bridge at that meeting. Tarquin Farquhar from Surrey said, “you can’t just bulldoze 7 years of history.”

I see a formation that includes Sagna at right back by Lewot. Is Sagna fit for this game? Does anyone know?

With Chelsea’s recent disaster about the QPR match, racistaccusations, and the suspenion of Drogba, who has a Beastly record against us, and Bosingwa suspended , we might sneak a win. If QPR can sneak a win, I’m sure we can! Up the gunners!
