Arsenal could get Barcelona star on loan!
Arsenal are looking to add some attacking options in this transfer window, and the Spanish club Barcelona may be about to help by offering one of their players on loan. Unfortunately it is not the one we want, David Villa. 21-year old Isaac Cuenca plays more as a winger who cuts inside, but he has been on the sidelines for eight months.
Cuenca has been passed as fully fit by the club’s medical team, but Barcelona have many options in his position, so they are ready to let him go on loan for the rest of the season. He did play 30 games for them last season, but now has Pedro, Tello and Alexis Sanchez to get past.
This would not be an ideal situation for Arsenal, but could give Arsene Wenger an extra option in the Arsenal attack. When, or if, Olivier Giroud is not playing and Theo Walcott moves into the middle, Cuenca could play on the right side of him. He is fast and skilful and could give the Gunners an extra dimension until some permanent additions can be brought into the Emirates in the summer.
According to Marca and the Daily Star, Liverpool and Arsenal are the potential destinations for the player in England, while Valencia are hoping to keep him in the Spanish league. Wenger should offer to take him and improve him, as long as Barca sell us David Villa for £10 million. What do you think Gooners?

Remeber in the preseason before wilshere got injured, him and ramsey looked great together, hopefully ramsey can play like he did yesterday for the rest of the season. Love the ide of him and wilshere together

So rumour has it that Barca have offered him to us and Liverpool on loan, yet rejected loan approaches from Valencia, Ajax, and Borrussia Monchengladbach. Seems odd there, unless they want something from us or Liverpool.

Why do we improve Barcelona players when we cannot accommodate our own in first team. Ryo myiachi is being wasted at wigan we could have improved him and he has loads of potential. If we can get a buy clause at the end of the season only then does this make any sense.

Villa signings the most important thing from barca at the moment if loaning him could help get that done great otherwise no as he would just be another player we improve and barca get the benefit of.

Cuenca has loads of potential and skill, would be nice to grab a player of his quality on loan with eyes towards a permanent move. Barca fans rated him higher than Tello before he broke out with the first team this year.

Umm, how about NO! We don’t need this guy. He’s not a proven player. We could’ve gotten Benayoun who actually played really well for us last season. What we need is a striker, you know, someone who can actually score goals when he’s in front of the goal. Villa, Negredo, Cavani among others that come to mind.

Not quite the signing I was hoping for but as people have said if it helps us signing Villa then it gets my vote.

One game and people start to compare Ramsey to Pirlo dont make me lough…i failed to notice Pirlo a like similarities as Rasmey has clearly much to learn…

A box to box midfielder who can tackle (Wanyame/Capoue) a striker (Villa, Higuain..forget Cavani folks) and a world class centre back (Hummels). A bit of added youthful flair to cover/compete with Cazorla would be a good idea..he is 28 remember)
Imagine this team. We would get 4th and be challenging next season.

Why I believe the hummels rumour is because why would wenger loan out Djourou and leave of form Squillaci and inexperienced Miquel for cover when he knows our 3 centrebacks are injuryprone,jovetic if he comes will play right wing pushing Theo to the CF role and of course Diame or Wanyama for DMF role and by the way before Carzola became an Arsenal player he come out to say he is commited to Malaga so please don’t rule out Diame even self it is unlike Sam Alaydace to bring his best player on the pitch for the last 20mins and on top of that Arsenal fans Cheered him when he came on COYG!!!

I agree with you, no way BvB would do this. Gotze is to them what Wilshere is to us. The homegrown, young superstar and the future of the national team. IMO, they have the best CB pairing in the world with Hummels and Subotic. I think they can win the UCL this season. They would be stupid to break up their team.
