Arsenal Expected To Return To Winning Ways Against Sunderland
After a poor start to the season Arsenal really need a win, not only just for the points but also for a major morale boost, and the fixtures seem to have been quite kind this week with Sunderland at the Emirates being the next test for Arsene Wenger’s Gunners. There are only five teams that Arsenal could currently play who are below them in the Premiership and one of those teams are Sunday’s opponents Sunderland. Steve Bruce is under severe pressure at the moment after just one win this season for Sunderland, their problem seems to be drawing too many games at the moment. Arsenal are unlikely to have to worry about a draw though, only one Arsenal game this season in the Premiership has ended all square and that was the opening game against Sunderland’s local rivals Newcastle.

So far this season Arsenal have won five out of six matches at the Emirates in all competitions and many of those games have been against tougher teams than Sunderland. The Black Cats are yet to win away this season, Sunderland have two draws and a loss on the road and that is why they are as big as 15/2 at the time of writing to win this game whilst a draw would be seen as a very good result for them and that outcome is 7/2.
In contrast to Arsenal’s away matches, the games at the Emirates have been fairly tight so far this season, Arsenal have kept two clean sheets but scored just four goals in those matches. Sunderland have been involved in even more low scoring matches away from home this season, in terms of scoring they have averaged less than a goal a game whilst conceding on average one goal a game. Everything seems to point to a low scoring match with under 2.5 goals looking a solid match at 23/20, the bookies actually think it will be over 2.5 goals at 4/6. Most likely winning scorelines for Arsenal if the game is to be low scoring have to be 1-0 at 13/2 and 2-0 at 7/1. Meanwhile Arsenal’s most likely scorer has to be Robin Van Persie, he should be backed to score first at 10/3 and at anytime at 10/11.

if I had my wish we’d be in a 4-4-2 with park and rvp up front an Ox starting on the right. The reason I put Gibbs at rb is because the lad’s got skills in the passing game and arsenal aren’t a cross to header team so why does it matter if our rb is left footed. Regardless, Come on gunners!

ahmed musa played in the nigerian league 6 years for kano pillars before going abroad. He’s dad is a trader in the market and has a 15 years old i watch him play in sani abacha stadium in kano. Now an 22 years. And if u are not old enough and strong you can’t play in that league. He has been a professional for 9 years. He is at least 32 years old.

Just like AW I have some hope for the team, I saw something in the spurs game the team now begins to show consciousness on defending together and it indicates that AW has realized his crazy ¨attack only¨ tactic is obsolete especially with the kind of players he has we just need our LB to be sharp I really dont know about RB I´m worried cause I heard AW talking bout Djorou, Ramsey made a lot of mistakes (at spurs) that could have cost us even more so we need him to focus more
if this goes well then we surely will be back on wining ways and not just for top 4 COME OOON ARSENAL
