Arsenal In Talks With Italian Club Over Potential Signing
Last month we brought you the news that Arsenal had been keeping a close on Ousmane Drame of Italian Serie B side Padova. Well they have taken their interest a step further and are now in talks with the players agent according to Italian website Mediagol.
Drame, 19, is in high demand and his agent George Atangana told Mediagol that Arsenal had been in direct contact. He said, “Arsenal? It’s true, with the English club I’m working on him directly. Wenger and I talk about their interest.”

Atangana also said, “Then in Italy he is also liked by Fiorentina.”
What do you think guys? I said last month that we would have to wait and see if the initial rumours were true and it appears as though they are. Is it only us the supporters that see the need for more experienced players. No disrespect to the player or his agent, but is a 19 year old teenager the answer to our problems when we don’t play the ones we already have in our squad.

Seeing Joel cambell play awfully well leads me to not question arsene when it comes to recruiting teenagers. I just hope he works as hard to brim in “super-quality” experienced signings

arsenal neeeds a massive flush and not stop gaps. So many playes sit or play crap and get paid. why?
fellani for diaby.
Cahill for squillaci
vertoghen for djoruou
hazard for ashavin
gotze/hamsik for rosicky
soldado for chamakh
augusto for walcourt.
The reason we fail against spur was because Tw14 and gervinho were crap. Lets get augusto and hazard to give d wing flair like man u. Fellaini is d type of DM we need. Gervinho and chamberlain can deputise on d wing. Get dein and usmanov to do this and a defense coach and new medical team.

This will happen my friends
Wenger will not spend big as usual max a 12 mil player for cm and another unknown cd for less than 10 mil no world class players as we hope will come result will be Arsenal will not make top 4, Wenger will be forced to resign at the end of the season and we will be in the deepest sh……………..t.

At this time of crisis, arsenal does not need lower league or kid players. We have bunch of them even on loan. Why this 19 years old when it is obvious that we lack matured, rugged, established and tested players who can the pressure of the game.Give us Eden Hazad,we need Mvila,we like Benzema,Cahil is waiting,go for Gotze instead. We are lacking and also lagging and so we need these class of players and not broilers.

I hate to hear uefa fair play rule. Uefa will never watch the big clubs go down. never! Lets analyse it fellow gunnerz.
Manshity spent millions which they can’t generate but we woke up one morning to hear Etihad airline deal which will offset the debt and wenger cry foul play. And the owner of etihad is also from abu dhabi family, infact a brother to manshity owner.
Manu and glazers where debt ridden but we woke up to hear a sponsorship deal will offset majorit of manu debt
barca now have d same problem don’t u think with time one adulfaruk muhammed from dubai sign a deal to offset majority of their debt.
Now they will be equal with arsenal but won’t suffer like us. Why? Usmanov is richer than abramovich and ready to help. Lets wake up and smell the coffee

usmanov has the money to get this club moving forward, until his money is utilised, as much as i hate to say it, we will not get the top players and we will be reduced to signing players like this one mentioned

I live near Guingamp and Drame couldn’t get a pro deal there. Seriously, why would Arsenal want a player with no experience of the EPL who couldn’t get a deal at the French equivalent of Macclesfield Town? We have so many kids who just die a slow death at Arsenal and get moved on like JET, Simpson, Cruise etc and the same will happen to Lansbury, Bartley, Afobe, Chuk etc Let these lads have their opportunity before buying in more French darlings. They deserve it. After 15 years we should have a crop of home-grown players ready to take the Premiership by storm. Do we? Maybe, but we dont & wont see them. The hope has been gutted out of them by Wengers buying policy. It’s like AOC, one minute the youngest English CL goal scorer, the next not even on the bench against the Sperms. Pitch time breeds confidence and the only way to see if they have what it takes is to give them a good run. When has Arsene given a young English lad a good run? It’s probably only Cole and Wilshire. 2 in 15 years, brilliant eh? Give ‘em a chance!!!!!!

Arsene Wenger continues to live in a world that has nothing to do with the real world. He wasted many years preparing for Uefa’s infamous fair play rules to kick in and give him a substantial edge over others. He was nevertheless fool enough to forget that we live in a corporate-run world where greedy lawyers and financial brokers are always miles ahead in finding loopholes in any system that is designed to create a level playing field.
Wenger is still living in Utopia as he continues to sign teenagers from unknown leagues. His self-deception has already cost the club dearly and the future looks bleaker than ever.
If Wenger has any sanity left in him, he should focus on clearing off the deadwood he has accumulated over the years to reduce the wage bill, offer competitive salaries to proven players, and sign some much needed experienced players, just the way Barcelona do: they groom young talent , but also buy what they need at any price.

@wentworth
i agree with u mate, how concerning is it that arsenal struggle with money when we have:
1) 2 billionaires, usmanov(the 2nd richest man in football), n stan kroenke (the 8th richest man in football) as owners
2) we r the 3rd richest club in football (behind S*ity n real madrid)
3) we r 1 of the only clubs in the world BEYOND ready 4 financial fair play
4) we have 120m in the bank 4 transfers
5) we made record profit AGAIN this summer, with player n property sales
6) we have the cheapest wage structure in the top 4
evaluation: F#ck gazidis n f#ck kroenke, ever since dien left we’ve been lagging behind n the only thing saving us from what is happening NOW back then was the “committed fabregas” n Arsene’s scouting abilities NOW that the fulcrum/pivot of our team is gone (fabregas) n the 2 WC mids we had left 2 replace him nasri(gone to shity) n wilshere(out injured 4 70% of the season) we have noone who is capable of playing that CAM position as ramsey as we saw is STILL NOT READY & arteta is simply NOT good enough. arsene & the board will again not spend money in january n Arsene (the boards scapegoat) will be forced 2 resign (even though he is NOT THE PROBLEM) as we will finish mid-table, the only people who can save our beloved club is us, late december admin u should consider making this a PROTEST SITE AGAINST THE BOARD. if we really love arsenal, we know wat must be done. F#CK GAZIDIS N F#CK KROENKE

Usmanov has a 29.9% share of the club and is not even allowed on the board. That my friends, is called f%^&*$g b$%^#$@t! The sooner those senile septegenarian tight wads on the board f*&k off the sooner the club can move forward.
The club should have gone with Usmanov (and Dein, who backed the old oligarch ffs), not Kroenke. I know the man looks like Jabba the Hut, but Jabba was a rich old slug and Usmanov is too! No; he is mega-rich! Kroenke’s wealth pales in comparison; and old Usmanov (with Dein to partner Wenger) would have given the club the cash we needed to recruit additional stars and keep our own. My god, I wish we still had Theo Van Nasregas!
Usmanov wanted to be the new Abramovich, but no, it had to be done the Arsenal way. Looks like the wrong way to me. Just get over this moral garbage and cough up the cash for star players to help the youngsters develop and bring glory to the Emirates, just for once. Love the Arsenal fellas, but s$%t we’re a frustrating lot and it doesn’t have to be this way, surely.
Arsenal FC!!

Why do Arsenal need so many strikers??? Apart from the first team, there is Vela, Wellington, and Campbell on loan. Then there is Watt, Afobe, and Freeman in the reserves. Why do we need another one??? Wont it be better if we invest in some young, up and coming defenders, someone like kyle bartley, or Phil Jones???

now let me lay this idea to rest! buying young and good players is never detrimental to the team, don’t forget football is business too. when u get all these good youngsters no matter the number of them u have d opportunity of selecting the best from d crop and probably making some profit from d ones u want to sell and if d sun shines brightest over one u may just get a dusted diamond. so first team tho on mind u can still do business by the side. Gracias. love from Nigeria.

If Wenger don’t show ambitions in January, then I’m afraid it is time for fans to take actions.
After all the club doesn’t belong to just Wenger, Silent Stan, and that Ivan CEO guy. Without fans filling the stadium, Arsenal is meaningless (and it is beginning to).
C’mon if fans, pundits and ex legends can tell what’s wrong, then it is a really serious problem.
First step is to start bringing in serious banners to matches.

@ Malik and Ryo Took the words right outta my mouth. It will be a continuous vicious circle until something drastic happens. I honestly cannot see what their plan for Arsenal really is. Surely if we are not winning trophies, the ultimate wealth and value of the club will drop. The support base will drop, especially outside of England where fans are slightly less loyal, merch sales will decline and so will ticket sales. The board and shareholders cannot see this? What irritates me even more is how Wenger shuts up about it all and takes it in the arse for them. If the man really had Arsenal’s interest at heart and was passionate about winning, he would speak up and admit he has not been given adequate funds to buy the players we desperately need. Yet he is so deluded he thinks we can still win with the policies we have in place. The reason he hasn’t said anything is because they pay him well not to, obviously. Any manager with integrity should be PISSED that the powers to be are not allocating enough funds to buying the players he needs. Yet I hear crickets.
Bring back Usmanov, kick out the corrupt board members and get a new manager who actually knows how to do his job. PLEASE. Even with the limited funds AW has had, he has not been able to fix our defensive problems which started 3 seasons ago. His squad selection is poor at best, he has players like Ox who are brimming with talent and passion to win and he leaves him out against Spurs. Not even on the bench. I mean WTF? Same with Frimpong. We desperately needed players who fight for everything to beat spurs. Frimpong is a machine and would have dominated the midfield, especially with our other DM in defense. Yet he plays Ramsey who sorry to say is just too slow. He had a terrible game and in my opinion is not good enough to play for Arsenal in midfield. We need a world class player = Fabregas playing there. we cannot compromise on that one.
Anyway if things get worse, at least we know they will get better after that. The fans can only take so much lies and dissapointment. I don’t see though why we should wait for things to get worse, heaven forbid relegation, when we can do something about it now??

Correction to my earlier post: Usmanov has a 29.28% stake in the club not 29.9%, but my point is still the same.
