Arsenal offered Serbian international in swap for Walcott?
Reports are coming in that the Italian giants Juventus are still intending to make a big bid to sign Theo Walcott, and are prepared to offer the Serbian International Milos Krasic as part exchange on the deal.
Walcott is currently in the same position as Robin Van Persie with just 18 months left on his contract at Arsenal, and if he doesn’t sign by the end of this season then Arsene Wenger will have choice but to let him leave the Emirates, and Juventus have been reportedly on Walcott’s trail since the beginning of the season.
Arsenal were said to be chasing Krasic 16 months ago before Juventus paid CSKA Moscow £15m for his services, but now the 27 year-old has fallen out with his manager Antonio Conte and is keen to move to London, according to the Italian Corriere dello Sport.
Walcott’s extension may depend on Arsenal winning a trophy this season (and keeping Van Persie?), or at least certain of a top four place again, while Juventus are currently top of Serie A and looking good in the race for the title.
Could Walcott “do a Nasri” and force Wenger to let him move abroad?

Just another story some journalist conjured up through speculative reasoning. Rest assured Gunners, as I’m sure many of you are aware that Walcott and RVP love playing for Arsenal as Wilshere and Gervinho do. i’m not concerned about their loyalty. i’m more concerned about our Board getting it right with player salaries and new contracts.
Yes I know you say a player’s loyalty means if he loves his club he should stay. But lets reverse the roles and say for example you were a successful Manager in an office and you had worked with the company for nearly 10 years. You make $1,500 a week and the boss wants to keep you for your knowledge and experience. You expect a salary increase as you’ve been loyal and worked your arse off, but you’ve been on the same salary for 5 years. Does an increase in salary not sound reasonable, knowing your importance and value to the company?
The Arsenal Board is responsible for presenting Wenger with the cash. Our Manager knows who he wants or needs but sometimes that also has to reflect the goals of the Board over its incessant annunciation of a “self-sustaining model”. BORING! Please give us something new Gazidis! How about hearing the words “Champions” and “Glory”?
We need to lock Walcott and RVP to their respective value in terms of long term contracts, ultimately learn from our mistakes with Nasri. I believe Nasri has received the wrong kind of attention from Arsenal fans. He was in a position as explained earlier in my corporate example. What employee in their right mind wouldn’t want to be paid what he/she is worth? There’s one thing loving and being loyal to a business, but there’s another thing about the business being loving and loyal to you.
Kroenke, Gazidis and the Board, if you’re reading this PLEASE SHOW ARSENAL FANS THE LOYALTY WE’VE SHOWN YOU

If it was Gotze for Walcott that’d be a no-brainer.
Opinions divided. What do you think?

This story is legit. They have been after him for a while. Something needs to be done to keep Walcott. A Jan world class signing perhaps. We cannot afford to lose him, he is top of his game.

i want to trust Arsene that he’d stick with a well ‘blended’ walcott than to embark on another experimental ‘trip’ to Juve… Not that its not alright in d first place but the timing will be wrong.
To release anothe top player when he hasn’t recovered from the loss of Cesc and Samir(anyway i doubt if he’s enjoying ample playing time at Man City) will be a record breaking foolhardy from a world class coach.

NO THANK YOU!!!
If we are selling any player, we need someone better to replace them. That is the rule.
However, I do not want Wolcott to go and don’t believe he will leave.

@MUFC
Walcott is a lazy fuck?
He’s the fastest player in the Premiership, thats like the opposite of lazy!
All joking aside, he has been playing really well of late. He has assisted 40 of van Persie’s 100 goals. His final ball into the box has improved dramatically over the last 2 years, his finishing has improved, although is still not good enough to warrant a run as a striker.
England fans hate him because of a decision SVEN made when he was 17, and if it were any of you in the same position you would have made the same choice Walcott did no?
He should not be sold either. I have taken some time in deciding on whether or not he IS as valuable as he is made out to be. His performances and marked improvement in the last 2 years in the areas I already mentioned have changed my mind. His productivity this season is very similar to Juan Mata, and everyone says he is an amazing player. Walcott is ignored. At 23 he is still young, if he continues to improve as he is, by 25 he will be a very good player indeed.

Walcott won’t go anywhere. He knows if he go he won’t develop aaswell as if he is with us.He has shown the likes of Nasri that only become the fringe player.Beside, I thinks Walcott had Arsenal DNA, he will be Mascott of Arsenal, a legend in the making. Why and where would he go?

keep quiet and stop going all bonkers about how good Walcot now is. just 2 months ago you were critizing and calling him names. and now he’s your hero. soon it will be, DON’T sell denilson, arshavin, jarou, fabs; learn to support your players as they go thru bad spells.it kills their confidence and performance

Theo is in a different league to klasnic who is a nobody. There is a lot more tho come from theo and he has all the qualities to become an arsenal great. I for one hope he stays with us for a long time to come. For the record, juventus are a disgrace for offering us klasnic who is no better than a below par chamak. Its only a matter of time before theo peaks and the reported 40million offers appear.

i dont want both to be leave. they both make the perfect duo right now at the team. understanding in between them is perfect. so if wenger worry about arsenal some how wenger should go for a life time sign with both of them. with them pudolsky and gotze and another left back joins. i think its perfect. after last night game wat wenger should realise is v are talking the same story here last year, v do not have a second team. like ManCity. we are very well team at first 11. but the second team isnt good at all. i think micheal (spint) could improve as a good left back. but still he needs lot of experience. so v neeed some class right now. where RVP and Walcot could gain some trust that they can end the war for silverware. i believe they will sign.
