Arsenal put price tag of £55m on Fabregas
Reports in Spain are saying that Arsenal have put their price clear on the table for Cesc Fabregas. It has been reported that Arsenal have told whichever club that is interested in their Capitan, that they will have to pay the Gunners £55 million for their key man. Wenger has said that he is only interested in a cash deal and is certainly not interested in taking any other player in exchange in this operation either. The Gunners boss is hoping that this price tag will stop any of the parties from taking the matter further.
Spanish Giants Real Madrid and Barca have both shown a key interest for the Spanish international midfielder, and they both know what is needed to obtain him. Some reports in the Spanish press show the deal could rise up to the £80 million that was paid out for Cristiano Ronaldo by Real Madrid.
It has been reported this week that Madrid are willing to pay up to £50 Million to sign the Arsenal Superstar, meanwhile the Vice-President of Barcelona, Javier Faus, has indicated on Wednesday that they only have funds available of around 33 to 38 million to sign players this summer.
The Spanish international team mates of Fabregas, Victor Valdes and Xav,i have both indicated that Cesc would prefer to sign for Barcelona and that he could not imagine wearing any other jersey if he did leave the North London Club.

After the match against Barca, Cesc will have his mind on Arsenal and only Arsenal because we will win the games against them. He will realize that Arsenal is better than Barca.
We play same style as them, but we have install steel in our play.
I believe, we will beat them.

I wish these people would stop this unhealthy speculation about our captain. At best, it is annoying and at worse it is being used as a means of unsettling him before every important game.
The football market is open enough to understand. If you want a player, you have to make an offer to his current club, and if this is accepted, there is a meeting of minds. If not, you either revise your offer or look elsewhere. By launching a political and emotional campaign Barca has breached a huge number business ethics. The question now is why we have not reported them to the authorities.

a very good pre match pshycology for barca to mess with fabregas harmony while stalling arsenal mood before match.

As if anyone linked with Arsenal would make that kind of comment to the Spanish media. If he wasn’t going in the summer, like hell will he be going now. In all honesty, I like JustArsenal but I can’t see why a decent website would risk its reputation by even commenting on this total codswallop! It’s the kind of ludicrous article you would read on Caught Offside or some other tripe ridden site.

If this is true then, it’s a fantastic news. Considering what has happened this Jan window and in the last couple of seasons, this PRICE and TERMS are spot on.
I hope this will put a SOLID lid on the saga and let us focus on our team building during the summer. Bravo AW and I am not surprised by these figures considering this is one of your strongest points (figures=MONEY)

I dont believe this story no way would wenger come out and say that he would accept £55m for fabregas, especially when the most overrated striker in the premier league “Torres” went for £50m!

Come on ladies and gents,
If the statement by Wenger is true then it is a sensible thing he has finally done and can kill redundent speculation.
Every player has their price. If Wenger would accept 55m GBP/65.5m EUR cash all well and good. Club sooner debt free.
It’s far better to name a price and shut up the clubs who are creating havoc in the press. It’s put up or shut up.
I believe Wenger could and should have done this earlier.
You also cannot link Torres value to Cescs value. They are in different positions. Also a UK transfer is far more costly and in the last hours of a transfer window.
Cesc is certainly replaceable. Why do fans get so over dramatic regarding players? They follow the money nowdays.
There is little to no loyalty left in football. I mean ‘Arry Redknapp is an Arsenal fan. GG was an Arsenal manager. Gallas well…..enough said. To return a healthy profit for a player makes all round good business sense.
Arsenal is a business now as well as a football club.
