Arsenal Rumours Deadline Day – M’VIla & Hamisk
At the time of writing this article there are exactly 14 hours remaining in the current transfer window and the rumours surrounding Arsenal are at fever pitch. The club has been busy over the last few days, but it appears as though they have not concluded their business yet.
According to reports Arsenal have already had a £22million bid rejected for Yann M’Vila of French League One club Rennes, who are prepared to sell, but they are holding out for £30million. A report on goal.com suggests Arsenal are confident a deal can be completed with £25million the likely figure to exchange hands.
Midfield seems to be the main area of concern now for manager Arsene Wenger, and there are rumours of a possible move for Napoli playmaker Marek Hamisk surfacing this morning. Again a fee of £25million has been banded about, but with Napoli in the Champions League this season I can’t see this move taking place.
Never say never though as it is deadline day and clubs do pay silly prices, but Arsenal don’t do they!
It promises to be a busy day and many of you are no doubt glued to your TV’s and computers right now trying to catch all the latest news. Three signings have been made already and there could be at least one more today. Things are starting to look up at the Emirates at last…………

M’VIla Hope we get him. He would be a great addition. For once lets be more focussed about actually getting the players we need, rather than missing out for a couple of Million, just because we don’t want to pay a premium. It’s the last day of the window – premiums come with the territory. I we aren’t smart enough to do our deals early, then this is the cost of bad transfer practise. Let’s just get what we need into our squad and go into the rest of the season with confidence and strength.

if we have got santos,mertesacker,chu park, the only way to make it better is today he needs to buy atleast 2-3 decent players , id like m’vila,hazard/gotze/hamsik , marvin if we seriously want atleast 1 cup this year we need 3 of them players not players that the teams we are chasing are getting rid of if they cant get into chelsea’s team there is a reason for it , come on wenger make us believe in u again

Thats what comes with Panic buying. Wenger had all the time in this world, but his theory of getting young players and groom them to super starts does not seem to be helping us now. We need trophies, we are now a laughing stock by our competitor fans…..
The club has to do whats got to do to put us back on top 3. Just spend and we will be smiling by the end of the season.

i wasnt happy with Nasri leaving, but fair play to him, he said it like it was, that it isnt wenger but it is the board who arent ambitious to spend. as a football team we have been lacking since the departure of david dein. as a business we are a great club. reports have surfaced in regards to the board and wenger being at loggerheads. the board say that they will back wenger paying 30 million for a player but refuse to increase the wage budget. so good luck to nasri, and well done for blatently saying it as it is and bringing the board into the spotlight. maybe now wenger will have a change to build a strong team instead of kids that we all shamefully watched against man utd

Not sure wether m’villa is needed. Already had Song & Frimpong which is very good. Desperately need creative midfielder/ playmaker. As of playmaker, It seems that Arteta is the most realistic target at the moment as everton is cash strapped. My bet is on Arteta but my heart wishes Hazard like many of us here.

Honda and Benayoun seem to be the most likeliest of deals currently. I am on Yahoo, sky, talksport, goal all at the same time and googling all possible media publications across Europe. What a day! Love it! Go Arsenal Go!

Sadly Hazard won’t be coming to us. If Liverpool get the first refusal they are not gonna let go of the opportunity of getting Hazard.
Realistically speaking since Liverpool might make the top 4 and hence Champ. League Hazard might not mind going to the club as well.
So if this hazard deal doesn’t happen now then it’s never.
The guy shquiri(spelling) looks alright, I mean all i could find were videos on youtube where 6 of his goals were repeated 5 times each. Youtube can make squid look good if i edit it properly :p

Just wanna say that iv ben watching M’vila very closley and he would be a great signing for
us better than song, better than most def or holding mids in the prem and he is only 20,
strong big and plays the ball well, his De jong and toure rolled into 1.
Shame we might miss out on hazard he is deff the next big thing, but hope to get some
backup in midfield and CAM, honda is goo but not strong enuf but Hamsik would be
right on the mone and a good goal scorer also very aggressive we need some
