Arsenal set for Nigerian Tour next summer! (confirmed)
Well there is a turn up for the books. I was certain that Arsenal would be doing a tour of the United States now that Silent Stan is the owner of the club, but it has been revealed today that the Gunners will be doing a tour of Africa instead!
The big African sports site MTNFootball.com spoke to the FIFA agent David Omigie, who said: “Arsenal will tour Nigeria ahead of the 2012/2013 season and will play against some selected Nigerian clubs,”
“I am therefore leading a delegation that will include Arsenal Football Club’s head of marketing. We are in Nigeria to conduct a pre-tour visit.
“During the visit, we will hold talks with top officials of the Nigerian Football Federation to ensure that Nigeria benefits from the visit of the Gunners.”
There are millions of Arsenal supporters in Africa and it will be a great opportunity for them to see their idols, but I am still surprised that Stan Kroenke didn’t go for a money-spinning tour of the USA……

I know this isn’t part of this particular topic but after watching the stoke v scum game I had a couple of points to make….
Adebayour running his socks off like his life depended on it for the scum makes me sick! I really can’t stand this bastard at all. He was a nobody when we bought him we made him a superstar in less than two years, now he is doing everything in his power to make that shitty team finish above us! I can’t wait for frimpong to crunch him at our place.
Secondly…. Last time it was Robbie keane running his mouth when the scum was above us saying they were the new power house in London, stupid ass.
Now van see fart keeps saying how we have had our day and they are top dogs now, well we have dealt with Newcastle, then Liverpool, currently we have dealt with chelski and now we are conning for you tottenham. While this may come as a surprise, I think its a brilliant move tho by the Arsenal. Nigeria is 150 million ppl, they breathe football, economy is growing and you have millions of Arsenal supporter since the days of Kano and the number has been on a steady increase. Its almost a house hold name so am glad we are making the move now as it will add many million followers and be a very intelligent business move(Manu benefited from this greatly).
