Arsenal Rumours – Wenger Targets Yet Another Foreign Teenager!
Not a day has gone by since the closing of the transfer window without a transfer rumour concerning Arsenal hitting the press. Today is no different and the latest player to be connected with our great club is Ousmane Drame.
There is a report on talkSPORT this morning saying that Arsenal are in direct competition with Fiorentina to sign Drame, who is currently at Italian side Padova who play in Serie B.
Reports coming from Italy suggest that Drame, 19, has been watched by Arsenal scouts during his last two games and has also been attracting the interest of other other top European clubs.
Padova do not want to lose one of their most valuable assets, but if the likes of Arsenal were to make an offer in January they would not stand in his way.
Another stereotypical Arsene Wenger signing perhaps? Drame is young, talented and French, all three of which fit the bill as far as Wenger is concerned. We will find out if the latest rumours are true in January.

Yeah .. they’ll travel to a second division game in Italy for a French kid. Dramé is an ex Guingamp boy .. my local team. They’re a fallen club, playing in the French 2nd Division, just out of the third though and he couldn’t even get a pro deal there with their lesser expectations. He sounds perfect for the EPL then. His French passport will get him signed. Wenger’s as biased as they come despite his hail fellow well met knackers.

Maybe… With our latest signings of Arteta and Benayoun, The only solution may not be buying any more players… Drame seems to be another Arsene experiment and it seems that AW is still going to use the same sort of tactic than made us go 6 years trophyless. Maybe the only solution is by sacking Arsene… Yet that should be the hottest topic now.

We dnt need any more teenage experimental buying anymore. Instead we need some proven and tested talents.I am sure prof.wengie will b luking 4 it in coming January. I watchd champions league mathes. I m impressd by Gotze & Hamsik.
I like to see any of them coming 2 our club in January as it will aid us in future.
Anothr CDM is not needed bcoz,Song is doing a gud job and Frimpong will improve as he is young. Also in attacking area, get Clint Dempsey in january, he is prmier league experienced and cheaper than Hazard or any others we are linkd with.
With these acquired,we will b able finish in top 3rd or even challenging 4 the title…sure..

Does no one understand that signing young players with possible world class potential is the most significant aspect of our transfer policy? It is what we HAVE TO try and do to compete as we cannot afford to buy players at the stage when they have realised that potential- this won’t change – about time to get used to it.

Wasn’t it only a couple of months ago the moaners were saying we desperately needed to buy a CDM???
Leave it to Arsene as he has far more knowledge and insight then the ‘Football Manager’ experts.

Another teenager? We have Myiachi and Oxlade and many more so I think we do fine whiout if hes not very good.

It is good to buy teenagers,but they should be very few e.g not more than 5 in a team.For a team to win trophies,it should have a mixed squad in terms of ages e.g very few teenagers,very few players who are 30 years old and above [like 5]and majority of the players should be between 22-29 years old,and then all players’ average age should be between 25-29 years but not 24 years and below like Arsenal. So Arsenal should reduce buying teenagers and instead be buying elegant people who are between 23-29 years old for it to be winning trophies! Otherwise if Arsenal continues buying/having many teenagers or Under-23s,for Heavens’/God’s sake it will keep on going trophiless year in year out!this is a fact before God!
