Arsenal To Swoop For £10Million Fiorentina Star

Juan Manuel Vargas was just one of the names mentioned in the summer about a possible move to the Emirates, but Arsene Wenger decided to keep a watching brief for now and went shopping else where, but he could bring him to the club in January.
There are reports in the press today suggesting Wenger is again looking at the Peruvian international, who plays for Fiorentina. Vargas, 27, can play in a variety of positions from left back, wing back to central midfield and his versatility may tempt Wenger to buy.
Should Arsenal decide to make a move for Vargas they will need to come up with around £10million, but Juventus are also reported to be keen on the versatile Peruvian.

It`s only mid September and already (according to the Wenger watchers) we have plans to “swoop” on at least eight players ranging from 10 to 25 million pounds in January. I`d be more than surprised if Wenger buys any until the end of the season and even if he does 10 million will be tops.

Not familiar with Vargas but the left back position needs to be addressed.

admin give it a rest with the transfer stories, its bad as it is with our current situation, not that i dont want to see new players such as vargas at the emirates, but its only the beggining of the season. no more signings allowed untill january so start ur transfer gossip for than and untill than lets hope the gooners are somewhere at the top still in all comps

I have been watching the french league and this guy is quality.

He’s not playing left back for Arsenal. But having said that, Santos was absolutely sh!t against Blackburn. Can’t defend, can’t pass, didn’t make runs. The only thing he did well was sending in 2 good crosses.

Gazidis doesn’t want 2 fire Wenger because he is also very mean and economical like Wenger i.e ‘birds of the same feather flock together’.Otherwise these are just the common usual Arsenal fictitious transfer rumours which are usually there just to fool and please foolish Arsenal fans that have are usually there since time immemorial but just a pack of lies!This is because even during the just recently closed transfer window,how many players did Arsenal say that it’s going 2 buy but didn’t buy because of either failing 2 pay the demanded price or because of another club snatching that player from them? e.g Samba, Gary Cahill,Alex Witsel,Ricardo Alvares,Mark Schwarzer, Jurado,etc.So even this rumour will not be true/reality.!
