Arsenal will not slip up again says Arteta
The second half of the FA cup tie between Arsenal and Swansea City was a bit like a rollercoaster and was not good for the health of Arsenal fans watching, but it has given the Gunners a wake up call, according to the vice-captain Mikel Arteta. When Michu scored, Arsenal went into panic mode for a few minutes and could have gone two down.
The fightback from the players was fantastic, and they now seem to realise that this is the best chance to end the long seven year wait for a trophy that is starting to act like a millstone round our necks. Rather than see it as an extra game that we didn’t really want to play, Arteta sees it as golden opportunity to bring some happiness to the fans.
“It’s a great chance to win a trophy. We don’t want to miss it.
“We kept going and showed a lot of character to get back into the game, score, and go ahead. But then we conceded a sloppy one again.
“We deserved to win the game and that’s why we’re disappointed.”
They say you learn more from tough games than easy ones, and Arsenal will have learnt a lot yesterday. The good thing is, that the players have a chance to put it right. We didn’t drop any points and we didn’t go out of the competition. We WILL beat Swansea in the replay next week.

Great confidence and hope hes right as i dont think i could take another swa sucker punch.
Like the sound of this new Belgain defender we are supposedly interested in. If that Belgain team had a few top strikers they would have one incredible squad.

No way we can expect 4 wins and a draw from our next 5 league games. City at home is difficult for obvious reasons, chelsea will have had a week off before they play us, so will be refreshed, whereas we will have played midweek in our swansea replay.
I’d take 10/11 pts and getting through to the next round, right now if someone offered it to me.

Instead of having players like Bendtner, Denilson, Squliaci, Diaby, Fabianski, Arshavin, Santos, Djourou, Chamakh & Ramsey.
Just buy few top quality players.
Decent Keeper, Leighton Baines, M’Vila, Villa/Lewandowski/Cavani
Quantity not quality please Mr Wenger.
I’d replace those 10 players with those 3/4 players and the wage outgoings would be less and would make a hell of an impact on the team and squad morale.

Lionel Messi is the best player in the world,and has been for quite sometime now.Ronaldo,Xavi,and Iniesta are great but it`s just unfortunate that Messi is still around and will set records that might never be broken because he is that good.Unless he is injured,he is winning it for the 5th time in a row next year.I like CR7 a lot because of his work rate and commitment but Messi is just magical
