Arsene Wenger ‘Bothered’ By Yet Another Defeat
A fourth defeat in seven Premier League games has done little to lift the mood at the Emirates, a defeat that leaves Arsenal 12 points behind the two Manchester clubs and just two points off the bottom three places. Arsene Wenger is starting to worry about his teams poor start to the season and is now bothered by his teams latest defeat.
Speaking after the game at Spurs today Wenger was asked about his under achieving side and said, “It bothers me of course. We are not where we want to be and it is important we respond quickly. And that is down to the next game.”
Unfortunately that next game against Sunderland is not for two weeks as another ill-timed international break is upon us, but that may be a good thing right now.
Arsene Wenger went on to add, “We lost a game when we were on top. We conceded two poor goals. I think the first goal was handball and second yellow card. The referee, maybe, cannot see it, but how can the linesman not see it? After the second goal, I think we defended badly and made two or three mistakes in the same situation. Overall, it is a game we have come out of very disappointed because we feel we should not have lost it.”

Wenger was not impressed with Spurs` first goal and on another day it could have been pulled up for handball, but when you are struggling those kind of decisions tend to go against you don‘t they. If we would have had a goal disallowed for that we would not have been happy would we, but then that is football bias talking.
Wojciech Szczesny will take the blame for the second goal, but if it wasn’t for him we could have found ourselves two or three behind. But what about Gervinho in the first half. Surely it was easier to score, but somehow he didn’t even hit the target. That would have put us 1-0 up and who knows what would have happened then.
Wenger did not blame Szczesny for the second goal, and nor should he because in his defence the ball moved all over the place. Wenger said, “He knows that you cannot blame him on it, We know that Wojciech, himself, will feel, certainly, a bit unlucky on it.”
There is that word unlucky again. We cannot keep being unlucky can we. Over the next two weeks there is sure to be plenty of soul searching at Arsenal, but things cannot keep on like this for much longer can they, because if they do we will find ourselves in serious trouble. But some people will say we already are.

Very disappointing again. Today everyone got exposed. Ramsey should not be in our first team. Gervinho with his pointless runs, Walcott didn’t know what was going on around him, don’t even get me started on the defense. Jenkinson??? WTF? Laughable, no words. He looks like a kindergardener who is on the playground running around chasing flies. Fill sorry for RVP, Song, and Szchezny, who don’t deserve to play in such crappy team. With the way its going we’ll be lucky to play in mickey mouse cup next year.

Yet again i noticed how bad we are at corners… really is no point in sneezy coming up for them in extra time if they are poor every single time. 7 corners this game and not 1 chance created.

There is no denying the fact that modern football requires meaningful investment on quality players( not implying spending 50,60 and 80 mil quid on single player) and dept. Honestly we have a very long season in our hands. Another loss, another unhappy day for us all. We just take the hurt and move on. No need bitching about what or who should have been bought as we can’t do anything now than wait for January and see what the board and Wenger have us.

I’m sick and tired of going over the same faults, time and time again, he had all summer to sort the problems out yet still decided to ignore the fans and back room staff, that we needed 2-3 more defensive minded players. How can you be so blind. At least it can’t get much worse…

I’ll be honest I’ve never been this bothered before, we have lost games and had bad streaks but it seems like this is deeper than that. I think the board has to go, I hate the way man city & chelsea have spent and taken as they please but I think arsenal need to follow that path to stay competitive. Chelsea and man c prove money does win you things and because of them a few
10mil players can’t cut it anymore. It’s not enough arsenal need to get ruthless. Stan out uzmanov in.

Jenkinson is like the kid who gets picked last in the playground…what is he doing at arsenal? And he will probably play now cos Sagna looks like he’s got a bad injury,Ramsey is tactically one of the worst players in the league,he may be technically sound but he is so unaware of basics off the ball it’s quite scary,I really think we shud go with van persie behind a main striker and oxlade must be looking to start in front of the ineffective walcott

yesterday i watched blackburn and the samba was damn good was fast strong defensivly sollid i wish we had bought him .to be honest walcott and gervino are trash wingers i dont want to see them play no more in an arsenal shirt.
and the biggest joke in arsenal history is jenkinson the guy wasnt even good enough for charlton played non proffesional football and then needs to fill in the boots of sagna haha the way he runs he doesnt look like a footballer im done for today.

Arsenal, we don’t have a good midfielder that can pass feed the ball to RVP at all. They are players who take shots at goal where there is no net to be found.
Seriously, if you get paid so much a week to perform give your heart and soul out players otherwise you don’t deserve to get paid. At least give the fans to cheer about something…
Arsenal has players that can’t even pass to their own team mates. We as fans still believe in our heart that Arsenal can still win the game.
Management better make the changes soon otherwise you will be seeing no fans and see the cash you are sitting on depleting soon as well. Choice is yours!!!!!!!!

Wenger and The Board have seen their whole grand plan go up in flames. Although is exactly to blame for what is kept under wraps.
People don’t seem to realise that in calendar 2011 it has been the senior players who have eventually given up on the Wenger obsession. They tried hard and long but failed to make it work. It isn’t only for more money that they have been exiting.
And people also don’t seem to recall that Wenger would have won very little if he had not inherited the old back 4/5 … who already knew how to defend. Wenger has never had a clue about defending and about tactics. He has always really been an excellent Director of football.
The new Owner and the Directors will have no clue what to do – except go on backing Wenger – and I cannot see Wenger recovering the situation. The BEST I can hope for is mid table … and at some point a revolution.

Two aspects await a conclusion affecting the progress of our Club this season.
1. The newbies have yet to gel with the rest of the first team. We have a fortnight’s training and coaching before our next game but most of the squad will be away for part of the time on international duty.
2. In 3 months’ time the January Transfer Window will open and the opportunity must be taken to sign further new blood without haggling unduly over their market value. The incoming players will then need a period to gel over the remaining 16 or so weeks of the season.
Re-reading the above it would appear that every silver cloud in our Clubs lining has a cloud. All we can do is support the team in whatever situation in which it finds itself because we have no choice.

I still can’t believe lady nina and the rest of the former board went behind alishier Usmanov’s back and sold kreonke the shares.we are now paying for it,kreonke is an asshole whose motive is only profit,he doesn’t give a rats ass about our club along with the ass kisser gazidis whose breath must smell of kreonkes ass.Aaron ramseys case is simple’He is not good enough to play for swansea city.It would have been different with usmanov;we probably would have kept nasri or fabregas and would have bought hazard, mata, goetze, mvilla, cahill etc.Arrsene please leave arsenal cuz you’ve clearly lost your mind and equally share in the blame.

Did you see AW in the post match interview? He looked so haggard, maybe he should step down for his own good, its bad to see him like that. I don’t think he will last much longer the stress and pressure is blatentley ruining him.

I seriously don’t get why he didn’t get Mata when he had the chance. He knew nasri and cesc wants to leave and will during that window. I am sick and tired of been linked with a brilliant player but we don’t get them and they come bk to hunt us. Look at cahill, samba, scott dann, scott parker, alex, kaka, gotze, hazard, m’vila, mexes. But no, he just gets middle rated players. Why! Why! We know he can make playeers world class but why not get prove ones and mix them in with your own wold class players. I love wenger and arsenal but if u can’t do the right things, why bother. Sign david dein as ur coach and then work with him like u did before. Negociate with ur wanted talents. But…. ARSENAL FOR LIFE!!!

and the misery continues. we are now seeing a struggling arsenal side trying to stay relevant in the premier league. the board and the manager are all a disgrace, the player are demotivated and the business of selling our top breed players is gaining momentum. why should wenger blame defence day in day out and yet he is the one who sold alexander hleb, kolo toure, william gallas the list is long? what is the use of chu park, miyachi, alex and frimpong if they keep sitting along the terraces of every stadium they visit? spurs have kept their best players like modric, bale and van dar vaat yet they are inferior to us in terms of cash. if these ‘money laundering business’ will stay at large, then soon we shall be a laughing stock for the teams we have often destroyed without sweat. over to you wenger.

I still didn’t see a collective defence when we are under attack, Jekinson to young to handle right back position..Now Sagna out for long time we dont have capable replacement.Ramsey showed that under pressure he lost focus and seem dont know what around him. Our Width player should help our defender when under pressure. Just dont let silly goal enter into goalpost.

Dear Arsenal Fans,
Kreonke, the selfish and arrogant Board and Wenger are killing the beloved Arsenal. Some of you who have been criticising several journalists and colmunists who have been trying to identify the rot at the club labeling them as haters, sabotourers name it. Whether you want it or not, the truth is comminig out now.
The lot is simply aiming at pocketing profits at the expense of the club.Thats why they cannot buy experienced players, but sell any developed players without any appropriate replacement.
To say that Arsenal cannot compete with rich clubs in the players’ market is simply a hogwash. What resourcebase do Hotspurs have which have now eclipsed Arsenal?.
Please lets stop watching Arsenal Matches until the proud and arrogant Board get some senses into their heads.
To Wenger, we are tied of childish and lame excuses.

Poor defending. But most importantly players have to run after they pass the ball, not stand on the same spot… We are about to be boring arsenal once again… =(

Wenger is like Robert Mugabe. Wasting Time. Wasting Money. Taking up Space. Like Fidel castro he is staying TOO LONG. Arsene Wenger embarassed the team to an 8-2 loss and consecutive losse, to teams we have beaten in the past. This is NOT our only HOPE, there are other “talented” coaches who would take us to GLORY and restore the Firing power of the Gunners.
Fire that Wenger and hire a team manager, not someone with economics degrees, we need athletic skills and football insight to restore Arsenal Glory.
It is disgusting what the current team looks like. no cutlery in years, no results, no champions league ….EVER.
I am disgusted to the core.

AW is a crying baby – a whining soul who would get boots very soon…
His words after the match are so borrrrrrrring… they r so damn predictable….
” we didn’t play like we would lose ” ( But we lost )
” our players gave their best ” ( If this is the best, then AW – u r the worst )
” our defence was not organised ” ( wtd u were doing for the last few years…apart from chewing your own falls & procastinating on yr past, fckd glory )
” everybody in the media & most of the fans have some evil intention against Arsenal ” ( now this has become a joke…people don’t get offended anymore…they laugh at Arsenal & at us thinking that the old punk has lost his mind..and they are so bloody right )
There has been a time & some fans ( including some idiots in this blog ) who would still say the following
” support the club during bad phase..this is just one of them ”
” AW is te best ever thing happened to Arsenal & in him we should keep believing ”
” who would replace AW ” ( as if he is God’s own gift to Arsenal )
” if you are criticising Arsenal or AW, then u r a Spuds or United or City or Chelsea fan ”
” The blame lies with Board only & AW is not at fault becuase the board doesn’t allow him to spend money ”
To all the above I have a simple answer -
F… Off …Get real..Smell thye coffee.. the atmosphere is changing at Emirates & outside..Arsenal Fans are not to be taken for granted by some scrupulous donkeys whose only ambition is to mint money…
WIND OF CHANGE is here –
Out AW & the Board – hail new faces…
Love thy club not the individuals ruining the same…

Another shocking result. We shouldn’t be in this situation, but our “house” hasn’t been built upon a rock and now the whole lot is tumbling down. I can’t blame Fabregas and Nasri for leaving, why should they be dragged down with our once great club. Wenger has had countless opportunities to sort out our problems but the rot has now well and truly set in, and I don’t think the people in charge have a clue about how to fix it. If action was taken 3 seasons ago we wouldn’t be in this mess. It’s one thing saying we aren’t going to pay big money for players, but just look at what we have actually bought, apart from Oxlade-Chamberlain is any Arsenal fan truly happy with the “Super Quality”??
When the recession hit, the company I work for took decisive action by cutting the dead wood, and restructuring, which is exactly what AFC needs to do.(we all know exactly who we would make redundant) However this is not sucessfully done by panic buying on deadline day. Stop embarrassing the club with misery offers, make a decision, get a transfer plan and execute it properly and stop messing about. It is the indecision that frustrates most fans, and this is something that in the business world is led by the top down. These people keep banging on about AFC being a business, which is fine by me, treat it like one and run the thing properly!
