Arsene Wenger to quit Arsenal if takeover bid succeeeds!
Here is an interesting story from the News of the World this morning, saying that Arsene Wenger has threatened to quit his beloved Arsenal if the Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov wins the battle for control of the club over Stan Kroenke.
They quote An Arsenal insider as saying: “If somehow Usmanov managed to take control then Arsene, who is otherwise utterly loyal to the club, would quit.
“He doesn’t want any owner interfering with the way he is developing the team. He has long been resistant to bringing big money signings in.
“He has a plan and everyone is seeing it come to fruition. That’s not to say along the way he won’t bring in some players but he will only do so on his terms. Arsene has made the board very aware of that and that he couldn’t work with an owner who insists on spending big money on new players.
“As it stands Arsene is happy working with Kroenke on the board because he has shown no interest in interfering. The same can’t be said for Usmanov.”
They then continue this preposterous allegation by saying that Wenger would then immediately move to Real Madrid, and take Cesc Fabregas and others with him!

Usmanov better stay away, no way do i want a United fan owning Arsenal!
It seems that it is not only a hobby for the press to make up rubbish about arsenal, buy a way of life. Don’t forget that not long ago, arsenal were put in third place on the club rich list behind man u and real madrid. With this huge stature, the club will naturally attract even more media attention than before. The club has more than 40k waiting list for season tickets, plays arguably the best football in the whole wide world, or second best behind Barcelona depending on opinion. Hence taking this all into account, arsenal are one of the biggest powerhouses in world football.
To cap it all off, this team has been created from mostly players who have been brought in from a very young age and are being turned into world class players at a fraction of the cost of most teams. And is one of the youngest teams out there.
What arsenal football club is possibly the greatest football club in the world, I mean really, it is!
News of the world is merely one of many tabloid papers out there that report rubbish. Put another way , a copy of the news of the world is the equivalent of a rectangular piece of garbage that instead of going into a landfill somewhere is instead distributed to the people of the UK. Lol
We definitely need Usimov to take over. Wenger is past it they only managed to score 36 goals in 11 games in the EPL, Thats an average of only 3 goals per game. look at Man City real success is bought, they get brilliant draws while we can only win games.
If Arsenal want to win anything we need to buy loads of super expensive prima donnas and let Usimov use our club to guarantee some huge personal loans, thats what true success is, fighting insolvancy while changing managers frequently to continuously create a team that only play for themselves.
