Arsene Wenger – We do like Chamakh!
The seemingly never-ending saga of Marouane Chamakh’s move from Bordeaux to Arsenal is now looking more and more certain. Chamakh admitted last week that if he had the choice on where to move in the summer, he would choose the Emirates, and it seems that Wenger has now confirmed that he still likes the Morroccan striker, but fell short of admitting it was a done deal.
When asked on French television about Chamakh’s desire to join Arsenal, Wenger said: “In life you have should achieve your dreams, above all you should try for them,”
“We do like him a lot, but the day we sign him – we will let you know.”
So we shall say that it cannot be confirmed with certainty, but we can say that there is little chance of it NOT happening!
Wenger – England call-up made Walcott insecure
Wenger – Don’t blame Almunia!
Chamakh – I choose Arsenal
Redknapp – Tottenham could finish above Arsenal
Wenger – Third place is not a disaster

If he joins it be iteresting to see who he replaces.
but i have to admit i’m not sure he be good enough for us,
he remineds me of wiltord a little and though wiltord was a decent enough striker i think we need a more of a drogba type or even a torres type forward.
any way keep the faith, always and forever a gooner
You maybe right in the fact he is not good enough for us. But i bet my balls that if they day comes and we did not sign him cos we did not want to pay an average striker 70.000£ a week , the fans will crucify wenger for not signing him up.
It is no longer about whether players are good enough or not its about just singing and showing financial muscles.
Not sure Wiltord was any good? You are havin a larf mate. Wiltord was the last Arsenal player to have a hat trick against Manure mate. Get your facts right. He also was the last guy to score a winning goal when we took title at OT. And you say he was not good enough- he could score, which is what I’d kill for. A finisher man, a finisher.
chamakh would be a good signing because his a goal scorer and he is tall 6.1 feet tall .other good sighings would be guiza striker from fenerbachce.raul meireles midfield from porto.alexis from valencia centre back.goalkeeper then neuer from schalke
Any one comes is a good news coz maybe we then sell the likes of Bendtner or Theo which AW refuse to admit like he did for a long time on Senderose and finally let him loose. We need world class big built strikers, the days of petit strikers are over. So, maybe him along with that South American Boy Galindo add some strength in our striking force.
all those news are rubish this time coz we R talking on alredy dead issue coz wenger wasnt active on the jan. transfer market and soon he saw the outcome of his unreasonable ideology( by losing 3 times in 10 days ) i dont know what the boiss is thinking of the club, this team is needing just one perfect hit man, atleat to boost the moral of the players( like the time arshavin sign )
