Arshavin – Fabregas gave us all a parting gift..
There have been assorted Arsenal rumours that Andrei Arshavin was going to be sold this summer, but both the player and the manager have scuppered the idea of him leaving, but he thinks that Cesc Fabregas will not be returning to the Emirates after the summer break.
Arshavin told the Russian magazine Sport: “My opinion is very simple: only Cesc should decide if he leaves or not. Serious conversations on this topic in the team was not made – well, we joked a bit, as usual….”
“Before leaving on vacation Fabregas gave little gifts to each player, and I asked him: “What is this? A parting gift?”
“He said nothing. Here we return to London, and understand, it says there is something behind this silence…”
Arsene Wenger has said that Barcelona will not bid for Fabregas this summer, so what could it all mean?

Cesc has no idea what he’s doing to Arsenal fans (& if he does then that’s just sad). He should simply come out and pledge his future to Arsenal. The longer he takes to do that shows he has one foot out the door and is hoping for a way out to Barca. That is really frustrating. But don’t get me wrong, I want Cesc to stay but the behaviour is just wrong.

I have on good information that last year it was Cesc who wanted to leave and Barca were not that keen. It looks that it could be a possibility that he leaves somewhere else if they do not stump up the cash. We don’t have to sell to them if they do not give the required amount…

All you idiots who take a dig at Fabregas, please realize that it’s the media which is creating all the fuzzz and not him!! Even if he wants to leave, nobody can fault him. Many a time, he gave his 100% to the team but received less than 50% from most of his co’stars’. He is such a player who deserves to win trophies every year. In case he stays for one more season, my respect will be tenfold!
Till now our manager was able to find 4 best players who deserve to play alongside him – TV5, Nasri, Wilshere and Van Persie. Walcott and Song to some extent.. So it’s upto Wenger to bring in quality and retain the GEM and… win something.

It’s just Arshavin getting publicity… Nobody really knows what Fabi is goin to do, even Arshavin thought he himself was leaving and now he’s staying so what does that say? we can’t lose cesc, whether his head is in the game or not. A quality team is built around quality players. Say he did go, and somehow barca or real stumped up 50mil, what do you think wengers going to do with that?
A. Blow it all on his replacement
B. Spend it all on 2 or 3 players who had a good season, but bench warm a majority of the time.
C. Invest 25 mil on 2 unknown teenagers, one average premier league player and keep the change.
I think we know the answer to that.

I’m a barça fan but not a selfish fan. I’d love 2 see fab. 2 be clothed in barça colours but we all know he’ll not be a regular cos of the towering presence of Xavi & Iniesta. Again barça had incurred great dept & signing fab is not the best now. He should just remain where he is reverenced like a demi god. Wish him the best.!!

it think we sshould Release this guy and handover the band to the RVP WHOSE HEART IS WITH US.FAB has cost us too many this season . he caused the first goal at camp nou. you could see that we played 10 against 12 at camp nou for the 60minutes and 9 agst 12 in the later part. fab was carried awy with the barca team aura. his mind is made up
