Barcelona to poach Arsenal youngster?

Benik Afobe
According to todays Daily Mail, Barcelona are trying to persuade the young Arsenal striker Benik Afobe to snub a professional contract with the Gunners and move to Spain.
The 16 year-old was watched by Barca scouts during the England U17 win over Kazakhstan, when Afobe scored twice.
They seem to have access to inside information because they clearly state that he has been offered a place in the Barcelona reserve team and a wage of £5,500 a week to move to Spain.
Afobe is highly promising and Arsene Wenger is unlikely to let him go without a fight. In fact i am sure he will match any offer from Spain and keep the youngster at the Emirates where he belongs.
The 16 year-old has scored prolifically for the Arsenal youth teams for the last two years, and is expected to step up to the Carling Cup side next season.
He is much more likely to get an early introduction to first team football at Arsenal than at Barcelona!
