Bendtner Never Wants To Play For Arsenal Again
Nicklas Bendtner has stated in no uncertain terms that he will never play for Arsenal again if it’s up to him. The Danish striker is on loan with Sunderland for the season after failing to make an impact last season for the Gunners.
The 23-year-old only started 14 games for Arsenal last season and Bendtner believes he wasn’t given a proper chance to prove himself since he was often played on the wing rather than up front.
Speaking to the Sun he said: “I will never go back to Arsenal. If I can have it my way, I will never play for them again.After my car accident I never really got the chance to earn a spot in the first team. That is over one-and-a-half years with no real chance to prove myself”.
Bendtner is looking forward to linking up with Steve Bruce again, for whom he played at Birmingham. He added. “I am really looking forward to playing for Sunderland and then we will see next summer. I will find a new club — but I will not go back to Arsenal, that’s for sure.”
Arsenal reserve the right to recall the striker should they have to cope with the usual amount of injuries but Bendtner will hope he can play regularly for Sunderland, score plenty of goals and put himself in the spotlight so he can secure a permanent move away from the Emirates.

TBH – my ONLY memory of NB was when he missed the opportunity to knock Barcelona out of the Champions League 5 minutes from full time…did he really have to try to control that ball?????

He’d be doing us all a favour by leaving (voluntarily at that – it’s about time he got the hint). He is one of these fringe players that needed to be offloaded. As utsho says, he was never a significant part of the team. Talk about delusions of grandeur. Good riddance..

Wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up in the reserves. He had three months to find a club, but ended up at Stoke on loan on deadline day. Speaks volumes. I don’t want you back anyway, you cost us the Champions League match against Barca last season. If you were even a quarter of the player you think you are then you should have made that shot with your eyes closed.

Guys, don’t you think that NB wasn’t given a fair chance. If you have a 6.4ft striker, he should play up front, not down the wings. He wasn’t played in his correct position. Bet he does well for the Black Cats. Lets not bash all the players who leave, he could have given more, if he was given the correct position to play in. Adios NB

Nicklas Ben-der should thank his stars that he was Arsenal for this long for the simple reason that AW was seriously hoping Bentdner would show just the slightest sign of being able to keep a shirt, so that AW can sell him quickly and at least, make a reduced loss but lo and behold, even division three clubs wont buy and we had to pay Sunderland for them to have this crap!

BEDNER IS ACTAULLY A BETTER ALL ROUND PLAYER THAN CHAMAKH, BUT CHAMAKH DID SCORE 12 GOALS LAST SEASON AND WAS A FREE TRANSFER. SO IF THE WORST COMES TO THE WORST WE CAN SELL CHAMAKH FOR 5 MILL AND BETNER FOR ABOUT 8 MILL, BEDNER WAS BOUGHT FOR 1.5, GREAT BUSINESS ARSENE!!

Bendtner can not even read from how Wenger was desperate to trade him off for a player. How many teams have turned him down. He is not wanted at Arsenal. Being taken on Loan is just an immediate avenue to get him off given that no team wants to buy him.
