Bob Wilson – Incredible Szczesny can win Arsenal the title
Everyone in the world is rightly focusing on the brilliant form of Robin Van Persie in the Arsenal attack, but the Arsenal legend Bob Wilson believes that the continuing excellence of the young Pole Wojciech Szczesny is just as important if Arsenal are going to go on to challenge for the Premiership title.
“He becomes as valuable in a way as Robin van Persie,” said Wilson, “and in some ways more valuable. Because any side that’s going to win things needs a solid spine. And it’s fair to say that any side that wins the title, you will generally say their goalkeeper has been the most consistent keeper in that season.”
“He’s got incredible reactions, he made a save against Sunderland that was just unbelievable,”
“From the moment I met him I was taken by his confidence,”

If Bob Wilson is so impressed with Szczesny, then maybe the youngster really could go on to become an Arsenal legend as well?

At only 21, Szczesnt is Great keeper, and he made a lot of spectecular saves. A cheeky goalkeeper with great hands and fancy, cheeky footwork (Cryuff turns ) as well. Legend in the making. He has much potential and great qualities as well. Very commanding on the pitch as well. I think he will be in Arsenal for the many long years to come.

And some how the reply wasn’t know all Bendtner it was, well it was exuberant Wojciech, confident, happy, enthusiastic Wojciech. So like Bob we laugh and look forward to the next great save.
Arsene has brought some great unknowns to Arsenal, the greatest of them may well prove to be Wojciech.

I have no idea how Wenger does it, but he seems to find these ‘diamonds in the rough’ from nowhere and they turn out to be absolute gems. I remember not too long ago when Arsenal was going through their keeper crisis, people were calling for millions to be spent on already established keepers, (Buffoon comes to mind). I have no idea how much Wenger spent on Szczesny but it was probably nothing and look at what an amazing keeper is is, and he’s so young!
So yes the Polecat is exactly what we need to win games, as with RvP and company on form, scoring goals isn’t a problem…it’s conceding goals that we need to watch. I just wish Wenger would sort out our ever looming defensive issues once and for all. With a decent line up in front of the Polecat we should be in-penetrable.

to me szczesny is just as important as van persi, he has saved arsenal severaly and the rate at which he is growing, he can get better than cassillas, its just a matter of time

He is not just a good goalkeeper he is the best in the europe right now thats why barcelona want him. You see confidence all over him and that alone puts fear in the minds of attackers like how he covered messi last season at the champions league 1st leg. Im happy we have him

This once again highlight the fact that Arsene Wenger has not lost it at all. While the whole world was blaming him for not buying a keeper, he had already saw his keeper in Szczesny and knew that a year or so wait was not too much instead of wasting money on old and spent keepers. Now nobody can tell the manager to buy a keeper, I think if all the fans get behind the team, Arsenal will go places. I just cannot imagine this club with another better manager.
He has shown character despite all the media and psyops war against him, and has managed to steer the club over the darkest tunnel ever. His only sin is just that some arsenal fans have not got the opportunity to be proud their manager bought a #50 million(pounds)player. But I dont know if they will be happy if he had bought Fernando Torres for such an amount and only 5 goals, 5 assists in 31 appearances in 11 months with little room for improvement; as compared to Gervinho who has got 2 goals, 5 assists in 14 games in just 3 months and still have room to improve. Wenger just dont like to pay for previous performance of a player in his old club as we have seen in the case of Torres. He always want to get value for the money he spent which is healthy for the club.

I thought Wenger lost it and should be sacked. Wenger did not splash the cash for a keeper so Szscesny is not world class. Song, RVP, Wilshire all cost next to nothing. Arteta, Gervinho, Metersacker, Koscienly, Santos all did not cost world class fees. Wenger is too frugal and Arsenal are only ‘just lucky’ or getting results against weak oppositions. He should have spent over 150m pounds on world class players and Arsenal will be good. Wenger has lost it. We should sack him and get Adam Kemp to be our manager and Ian wright to assist him. LOL.
