Carlo Ancelotti Wants A Job In England – Arsenal Perhaps?
Carlo Ancelotti was sacked by Chelsea at the end of last season because he went one whole season without winning a trophy. Heaven forbid, one whole season you want to come to Arsenal mate! Now there’s a thought for all you Arsene Wenger haters out there, not me may I add. Carlo Ancelotti as the new boss of Arsenal.
Ancelotti has shared his views with the press about Arsene Wenger’s situation and would jump at the chance of a return to English football should the chance ever arise. He said, “It’s evident Wenger is wobbling and that within a few months Capello’s place with the national team will go to an Englishman and free up a place at a club. I have a strong will to remain in England.”

From what he is saying it looks like he is eyeing up Harry Redknapp’s job at Spurs then rather than Wenger’s. Redknapp has been tipped to succeed Capello when his contract runs out in the summer and should he accept Spurs will be looking for a new boss.
To strengthen the claims of Ancelotti for Spurs, rather than Arsenal the Italian said, “For a coach, this is the ideal country. But I would only consider top clubs including Tottenham and Liverpool.”
The bookmakers have Ancelotti at 25/1 (26.0) this morning to be the next boss at the Emirates, but only 8/1 (9.0) to be the next boss of Spurs. What do you all you Arsene Wenger haters think? Would you welcome Carlo Ancelotti to Arsenal, could he bring success to the club with the current crop of players? Personally I don’t even think Sir Alex could work his magic with the current squad.

I would honestly like to speak my mind here, no offence: Wenger has lost his competence as a sensitive and flexible coach. Arsenal is technically and managerially sick. Unimaginable defeats from unexpected quarters. Is it not glaring that the club’s “teenage policy” is not ideal and or efficient? The truth is that quality and money go hand in hand, and it takes a willing heart to spend good money on something good — Wenger listens to no one, so does the club’s blind board. Finally, my question: can Ancelotti be the redeemer we seek? How can we tell if we do not give him or any other person the chance? Guys, change is always constant.

No coach can achieve anything with the kind of squad we have at the moment. Apart from RVP,Wilshere,Song,Sagna and a promising young goalkeeper, there’s no other player at arsenal who could make the first 11 in a title challenging squad.

How many years we waiting for a single throphy? Arsenal have won throphies (by my Playstation 3). What is the throphy? I forgot there has a throphy and I can’t wait any longer. Five/Six years and no throphy I can’t believe manager didn’t get fired. Ancelotti get fired(in the Chelsea) bcoz he didn’t get throphy only a year he have so much to give(more than Wenger) but he get fired. So Ancelotti to Arsenal? Yes please.

Ancelotti would be great for Arsenal and would be a refreshing change!
He has won the double with Chelsea in his first season in charge and took them to second place in the league last year in a close finish. Even with his past accomplishments (pretty damn decent in just 2 seasons at Chelsea), he was sacked!
Really have no explanation as to why AW is still at Arsenal, living on past accomplishments which have expired YEARS AGO! Now all he has done is set disastrous records for our beloved club!

Arsenal need Redknapp! Always honest, fights to keep his best players even with stupid bids from top clubs. Knows when to sell, and makes the most of his resources (as little as they may be at Tot). I really like him as a manager, he’ll be good for England.

It was not beyond the realms that we could have won the PL last season, if Arsenal had listened to what EVERYONE was saying about our lack of strength in midfield and defence. Two or three good signings would have sorted it. What did Arsenal do about it NOTHING. To that end, at the end of the season, players were disillusioned and two of our best players left, the others looked around and realised the team was disintegrating and that the Arsene Wenger vision of becoming the the worlds best team, was well and truly over. I’m sorry to say but we have missed the best opportunity ever of becoming the best team in Europe, for the sake of spending some decent money on a couple of decent players and now look like a team in crisis, which we are. This team has no confidence and we look like a bottom half of the league team. What can we hope for this and the coming seasons? We might get to a cup final of some sort, though nobody should hold their breath. If we don’t invest properly in some excellent players and offer them the wages they would expect elsewhere, than Van Persie and Wiltshire could well leave. Once your down the bottom, NOBODY will want to come to Arsenal and from there, the only way is down. I will never stop supporting this great club but the future looks grim.

Wenger’s reign is similar to an African dictator. One who comes into power as a hero, many years later he becomes stubborn listens to one and thinks he knows best. Many African dictators have ended they reign’s in embarrassment. I fear for Wenger, his stubbornness will be his downfall, he has been self destructing himself slowly over the years now it is affecting the whole team.

If we still had all 4 that we sold to man city and fab plus some of the players brought in, we would win titles. Arsene can do magic with the right players he proved that when he came over. Any way you look at it with Ushmanov in charge we would be flying because we would also have David Dean pulling some strings and the Man City supporter Gazidis would be history.
The main problem is that we can’t change the owners unless the fans as a whole take drastic measures and pretty much force Kroenke out.
As long as the manager is a man that does not spend money and fills the yanks pockets he has a job for life.

I honestly think that beating Udinese was a curse for us because without champions league football the greedy shareholders would have lost millions and been forced to change things and that includes AW.

Not sure about Ancelotti. Chelsea was doing great until his assistant left, then all of a sudden Chelsea began to lose games. I don’t believe Ancelotti is the answer for Arsenal. No offense to the man, but after watching many an interview of him, he seems like a bit of a pushover. We need someone who take it by the balls.

Ancelloti or any other top manager cannot replace wenger due to the clubs financial structure, they wouldnt achieve half of what he has, top managers need top money to spend on top players who needs top wages which afc are not prepared to pay. In the nasri situation wenger told the board they need to raise the wages to a 150 grand a week to keep him, wenger was told at a meeting by kroeke that nasri will be sold what does that tell you. In an interview at the end of last season usmanov said the board needs to give wenger more support. Wenger himself came out and said we are gona be left behind if we keep operating as we are now. Before we moved to the emirates how many youth came thru under wenger.. not alot, he went out and buy. The emphasis on youth was used during the transition for financial reasons, and we havnt won a trophy since. The board seeing that this system work financially doesnt see the need to change and i honestly cant seeing any manager doing alot better than wenger, im not prepared for wenger to leave until there is a shake up at the top, bcos we could find ourselves in alot more trouble than we are now

Whichever manager replaces wenger hes gona need to bring in his players to suit his style of play, can u actually see the board giving ancelloti 200m to buy players rebuild the team and then paying wages of 150k per week for 75% of those players, it wont happen. So for the sake of the club lets hope wenger can turn it around, if not the only way is down no matter how u look at it

The main culprit is the wage structure i think, and i’m sickened into quietness from yesterday’s defeat to the spurs. AW is still good methinks, but needs to win a trophy(even if by fluke) and tell the board to cut the crap and clear the hurdles in the way of Kakas and Tevezs and Sneijders coming to the club.

Wat if wenger is sacked and things still remain the same? Then we start sacking our managers every 5 months,at this point it cant get worst than this and i personally tink we can turn tings around but if by january tings dont change then the only pple that should leave is the board and after that start rebuilding for next season,we may not make top 4 ,nobody knows dat for sure but if we can identify d problem, correctly it and strenghten our team then we can start luking forward to future success,Acelotti is gud but sacking AW now would be a bad decision.

@ malik Its easier said than done. Its not as easy to shift unwanted players as we experienced pre season. Not all players will com and adapt to the english culture style if play and worse of all the weather, not all players want to leave their country, and although they mite be cheap and affordable in terms of transfer and wages, how long will they stay wen the likes of man city and madrid comes calling with a bigger wage packet.. not long, then we are back to square one losing all our best players. The club needs stability we cant keep losing our best players every season, or we will never move foward no matter who is manager

Arsene wenger, is very bad at tactics. Picking players?? I’m tempted to say the worst. He is only good at scouting players, wrapping them in a gift box and sending them to other top teams. He sees no difference between finishing 8th or champions. He is got a excuse for everything, rather recycled excuses.
And every time we have to wait for the next transfer window to see our expectations being depleted.

we have plenty of quality and we always have, thats never been the problem!
If wenger is ever replaced we need a coach renowned for getting the best outa players and helping them fulfill there potential, for this reason it has to be the special one!
Mourinho would get every last drop outa this squad and would probably need very few additions, but also jose would attract big names if needs be. World class players will always follow jose hes like the pied piper of football.
Also one last point mourinho is desperate to be back in england and only left chelsea coz he was pushed, at a stable club like arsenal i could see him staying for a long time and we all no he loves a challenge nothing would please him more than to turn this club around and pummel united, chelsea and the mancs! Bottom line is though this is really wengers mess and wenger should sort it out! But mourinho if it comes to it.

Mourinho is an excellent coach, but he comes with too much Drama. We are not like that at Arsenal. We focus on the club and think long term. I personally do not see Murionho being a long term replacement. 3 year at best.
Pepe on the other hand, is a long term coach. He can be at Arsenal for 5-10 years. He will enjoy England and great players will follow him. He also has a similar style of play. COME ON BRING Pepe. I still love Arsene though. He is the best coach we ever had and probably will ever have.

Come on guys think logic thing ever since we have moved to EMIRATES STADIUM since than we haven’t won any tropies do you think there is something in that Stadium.
Why is everything happening to Arsenal we have had injuries started bad guys no tropy this year as well.
Unless something magic is done. It is not Wenger he has done a good job also the players have to work together we have the most possession but no goal and give the ball away easily.

Those of you shouting pep, remove just Messi from Barca and let’s see where they get. on mata, he did not join arsenal just because of the wage. wenger has already turned things around.watch the tottenham match againg and tell me where we did badly. this is with 3 of our best players out on account of injury. We all saw how manure struggled the day Rooney and a few others did not play. All the matches we played, how many players from the 1st team played it. We outplayed tottenham from beginning to end, even with all their players. vander vart scored a goal the ref ahould have disallowed and walker scored a fluke. The only area we were not sharp enough was attack. Injuries, luck and officiating have always ganged up against Wenger and his team. no manager on earth will face all these and still remain competitive. remove him and all of you will shortly rush back here moaning all over again.

Luwegunner you are right,actually many Scottish and Dutch coaches are good.So for this case,I think Arsenal should sack Wenger and replace him with any of these elegant coaches so as to be winning trophies:

You are blaming the Board not Wenger. Has Wenger one day hinted that he has the Board as one of his challenges. Until he does that, he should be the pincipal culprit, not the Board nor players. Whenever a team is not doing well the first to blame is always the manager.

aw leaving arsenal might be disasterous. who will replace him? and who can perform with dis quality we have. ferguson and even mourihno will shutter with dis quality. what we need is for the board to change their policy and spend.
