Cazorla proves his worth yet again – Signing of the summer?

Despite Koscielny powering home the equalizer for the Gunners’; let’s not forget the magic that was Santi Cazorla. The Spaniard made some darting runs into space and troubled the City defence the entire match. It was his brilliant dipping shot, which was saved magnificently by Joe Hart, that resulted in the corner which allowed Koscielny his chance to blast the ball into the back of the net.
Cazorla is making huge inroads at the Emirates this season, having played just a handful of games, he’s already set to play a key role in Arsenal’s league challenge this season. The Gunners are unbeaten in the Premier League so far, with nine points from five games, and they could keep pace at the top of the league if Cazorla stays fit and continues to play as brilliantly as he’s done so far this season.
In the yesterday’s match, Cazorla became a passing god, often overshadowing David Silva. Hailed by many as the signing of the summer when he arrived from Malaga for around £15 million in August, he is now confirming the hype with his wizardry on the ball. He brings with him a style of attack that’s needed in the Arsenal setup. Unafraid to shoot outside the box, he’s always keeping the opposition busy and sucking in defenders while creating space for other players to make angled runs.
What can I say about the little master that hasn’t been said before? He’s put in man of the match performances every time he’s played. He’s unafraid to get involved and his link up play with players is simple outstanding. First we saw it with Gervinho, then Podolski and now in yesterday’s match with Arteta. He’s a gift to the team and yet at the same he’s providing gifts to the Arsenal faithful. Already dubbed to be the player of the season, we got to take our hats off and applaud what Cazorla has brought to Arsenal so far. Carry on you beauty, carry on!
Both Cazorla and Arteta massive players and to think the latter can’t get into the spanish team.
Mancini must be be well p*ssed off, cherry picking our players and still looking 2nd best.

I feel soooooo estatic as i never imagined Arsenal could ever fill the hole created by the departure of my then beloved Fabregas. But come Cazorla, you won’t find many Arsenal fans disagreeing that this little wizard is a whole new level better than Fabregas.. the best part of Cazo is that he is sooo humble and a team’s darling.. i am already getting paranoid that Man City will already be preparing for a big money transfer for Cazo !!! Wenger atleast dont let go off Cazorla like you did for RVP !!

For me it’s not just the pure magic of Santi – he is probably one of the best footballers in the world at the moment, vision…but what shines most for me is his temperament and attitude on and off the pitch. He has loads of confidence, but is humble at the same time. This attitude fits perfectly into the Arsenal way.
Also he is better than Fabregas.

What other team do you know who can dominate Manchester City throughout the game, especially at the Etihad. If you fail to see Arsenal’s quality after destroying City away, I think it’s safe to say your just a pessimist.
Mertesacker proving to be amazing. Arteta playing amazing. Gervinho had a terrible game but had been playing good recently. Jenkinson is 20 and kept City attackers back.
Definitely title challengers this season.

Indeed! I myself voted Kos for MOTM, but you got a point that had me doubting my vote. If it wasnt for that superbe shot, that forced Hart to throw it off to a corner, we had never have got that corner.
But then again, Kos shot it to the net, I dont know, its better to have a doubt of who was better than to ask one self who was worst right?

We played well bt still short at d final third,wenger needs to bring in or buy a right footed striker dat can direct his shot either to d left or right side of d net.podoski has showed his quality bt he is a left footed striker,even giroud also.we need a right footed striker in our attack.

Afcon is being changed into an odd year in the other format it would have concided with worldcup. Thus Caf saw it wise instead of skipping three years to achieve it was better to play two consecitive Afcon in two years thus the situation of two afcon in two years.

@Thala good thing is that we are loosing only one player ie Gervinho and Chamakh maybe Frmpong if Ghana calls him these are players who will not be missed much i have said one player since the morrocan doesnt find space even on the bench. Unlike before when we had Ebue Adebaypr Toure song players who were key to the team.

Santi is an absolute joy to watch, i just hope that the leg breakers of the prem dont target him as they just cannot match up to Santi or anywhere near when playing the beautiful game. i was one of the fans that was delighted that we were not really interested in van der wiel as i thought that jenkinson was a solid def, i was/am also glad that we did not go for Mvila as i have never been impressed with, i did/do think that one more striker could be a necessity and i am really looking forward to seeing who Arsene recruits as he has a magic eye for talent/bargains even when on a shoe string budget at times, thanks again Arsene and im glad that the minority fools in my opinion didnt do any lasting damage when booing you, coz in my opinion there are not many managers in world football that can do what you do in basically having no real funding unless you sell, and then still manage to improve your team, still produce worldy’s, while playings allot of the best football Engand prem has ever seen.

I wish Theo Walcott’s contract would be sorted out soon…seeing what he said yesterday the boy still loves this club & wants to play…why can’t he be converted to a striker & we bring in another quality striker to tutor him…but if Theo goes, I still think we need 2 more strikers & a back up left & right back…happy with the teams performance thus far…Gi Roots spectacular first goal is only a matter of time away!…when he scores he will embarass our rivals in a key game…keep the faith
