David Villa and Iniesta take their turn at Fabregas love-in
Another day and yet another couple of Barcelona players have to put their oar in about Cesc Fabregas and how much they would lurrrvve him to join them at Barcelona.
David Villa is first up, and reveals that he has a “weakness”(!!!!) for his bumchum Cesc. He said: “I am not hiding what I think of Cesc. I have a weakness for him. I view him as a friend and hopefully he will complete his transfer.” Oh for gods sake; Get a room! (Hmm perhaps they will share one for away games….)
Andres Iniesta at least talked about the “quality” of his football. He said: “We have always said what we think of him [Fabregas]. If he comes he will help us to make the step up in quality.”
“I have spoken with him on many occasions and he could achieve his desire to come to Barcelona.” And his desire perhaps extends to sharing a room with David Villa? That would certainly explain a few things!
But Fab4 is currently nursing his ever-troublesome hamstring (I certainly wouldn’t pay £40m for a knackered player that can only play half a season at 24 years old) and is going to miss the Arsenal tour of the Far East, but he left his usual perplexing message on Twitter.
He tweeted: “Im sorry to all the fans in Asia that I wont be on the tour. After just returning from Indonesia I know how special u all r. Ill make it up.” Hmm and exactly how is he going to “make it up” if he is playing for Barcelona?
And more worryingly how on Earth is he going to explain to David Villa that he can’t share a room with him next season because his wicked stepfather Mr. Wenger has grounded him and stopped him from playing with his best friends….
This bloody saga is becoming ever-so-more tedious each and every day. Why can’t someone just tell us the truth about the situation? Is he going or isn’t he?

Fabregas tweeted in his last tweet “states soon”! I have a funny feeling his transfer is nearly done as Barcelona are goin on a pre season tour of the states, why else would he put that?
