Dortmund confident of beating Arsenal after Gotze sinks Bayern Munich
Arsenal forced a draw against Borussia Dortmund in Germany in September with the German Champions forcing an equaliser in the last minute, but the Gunners could face a sterner opponent this time around.
Dortmund have improved in the Bundesliga since then and proved they were back in contention in the latest football results with with a hard fought 1-0 win over the League leaders Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, putting themselves just two points behind Munich at the top of the table.
The Arsenal target Mario Gotze got the winner for Dortmund, and his coach Jurgen Klopp believes his team now has the confidence to beat Arsenal at the Emirates and put themselves back in with a chance of making the Champions League knockout stages.
“Practically nothing tops beating good teams,” Klopp said. “We managed that against Bayern and we can do that again on Wednesday.
“It will be a different challenge, but today was an important sign that we can also do this at Arsenal.”
If Arsenal win they will be sure of progression, but a defeat will give both Marseille and Dortmund a chance of going through instead. It looks like it could be a fascinating match on Wednesday….

Winning bayern does not guarantee you(klop) even draw at emirate because bayern and arsenal are 2 different teams. You better tell your boys to defend well so that it wont more 2 goals. Keep-on shooting arsenal.

I suppose every manager has to be positive for the team and the fans, even though Klopp probably knows we will beat them. If they go in with a positive attitude, we are in for one hell of a game. Come on Arsenal let’s settle the score once and for all against Dortmund!
