Dortmund manager realises that Arsenal are NOT a one man team
Wherever Arsenal finish in each competition this season, one thing that is almost certain is the continuation of the attention paid to Robin Van Persie as supposedly the Gunners’ main source of success. Despite the Dutchman’s colleagues performing equally as well in their own right, the solid displays of other squad members are sometimes overlooked. Thankfully for Borussia Dortmund – Arsenal’s Champions League opponents this evening – manager Jürgen Klopp realises that Arsène Wenger’s side are not the one-man team they have so often been described as being.
Speaking ahead of the Group F clash, Klopp said, “It would be fatal to focus only on Van Persie. We have to take care of Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey – you get punished if you let them go. Song too… We have to focus on what we do – that will mean Arsenal cannot play their game. That is how we would like it.”
Recognising Arsenal’s ability across the park, Klopp continued, promising a composed approach to freescoring Van Persie’s menacing presence: “We won’t have four men on Robin. The easiest way is that he doesn’t get good balls and we have measures for that.”
Left-back Mats Hummels is undoubtedly one of these “measures” to prevent crosses reaching Van Persie, but he will have a difficult night coming between the ever-strengthening connection between Van Persie and Theo Walcott in a link that is fast becoming almost telepathic and integral to the Dutchman’s incredible scoring run of 31 goals in 2011.
Borussia Dortmund are the reigning German champions but can Wenger’s men take control and deservedly reach the next round?

Finally recognition that were not a one man team, I’m getting tired of hearing the same old story, I mean I love RVP but we have other great players Schezeny&TV&Gervinho&Walcott&arteta&wilshere and more!

The fine run continues,indeed the time of critism is over and now is the time to praise Wenger and his boys.R V P has found perfect partners in Theo and Gervino.These boys are fantastic, Kudos to Szczeny,Vamerleen is special,Koscienly is becoming more reliable, Song is ever strong,Ateter is the stabiliser while Ramsey make the runs,yes Santos, huge and strong with an eye for goal,Metsaker the tallest that provide cover for set piece. You all were excellent against BVB, 3 points gotten and round of sixteen assured.Congrats to all GUNNER fans world wide.

It will be wonderful if Man Shitty and Chel$ki with all their spending don’t make the round of 16, but let us wait for the last round of matches as they both still have an outside chance of making the round of 16.
BTW with the recent run of results I wonder how long before the musical chairs continue at Chel$ki. I am sure that Roman’s patience with AVB is wearing thin. Keep your ears to the ground, I expect to hear about the firing of a coach real soon. . .

Guys the great thing is no any other england team is sure of progressing to final 16 exept Wenger’s team. and we have beat all other teams in the group without loosing even once. am looking ahead to see coqln,frmpong and diaby to gain confidence and experience in the last group match coz we have nothing to loose.

We are already at the top and in the last 16. Credits to B dutmond they have their best and paid at the its half but you cant stop RVP from scoring. Gonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnners! 4 ever

i dont believe gervhinio makes a big diffrents on the team. he misses so much balls. oxlander (wonderkid) f he or park could replace gervhinio i think its really really perfect. oxlander was a real finisher. not like gervhinio. other than that f v ciould strong hold the midfielder i think with wilshares return tht will be 100% ok. i think this team is perfect. i wish wenger to sign RVP and Theo. those are the key player for me in arsenal. theos and rvp make a good couple. gervhinio keeps the ball too much .. too much trebbling. not good.. he is a less passer for me. arsenal meant to play the game of Barca. quick and short passes. v havent see that in year. but i do believe this team could overcome all our expectation. but the team shouldnt break up.\ with RVP and Theo if they leave.
For me song and koslony did a great job. Kosi was unbelievable. up and down he played and he made so muc hpossible. and the defence line became more live with vermelan return.
i would say loan Chamakh, Djourou we will be perfect.

@nazafi gervinho lacks only one thing finishing on the contrary to what u said he does make a big difference to the team he works hard defensively he can take any defender one on one and he makes spectacular runs its just the confidence he needs to get(a bit more) of course he frustrated us but hope soon he ll be at his best

one of a kind,who judges player easily..jst suport the gunners overall dude..what if rvp hd a bad game?(which he wont!)..gervinho helps a lot..he jst lacks on finishing,hes a great addition,no need for nasri replacement,cus he is the one. Santos even better than clichy.. pls wenger vertonghen,goetze and podolski..and make way out of almunia,squid,denilson,bendtner,chamakh..they r nt the part of the big qualitu squad we hv!

Even after seeing what Arsene Wenger has made Gervinho, Song, Wilshere, Ramsey and Coquelin; Gotze and Hazard are still doubtful whether Wenger he is the correct talent manager to play for. I am sure Wwenger should just pursue the talent development approach but choose players that are not so green. Granero, Juan Vergas, Vertongen, Kalou and Marco Reus would do us fine especially if we off load Arshavin, Chamakh, Bendtner, Scillaci, Almunia and Rosisky
