Eden Hazard’s father confirms Tottenham interest
Most Arsenal fans (especially me!) were gobsmacked when the young Belgian Eden Hazard talked about the possibility of joining the Gunners great rivals Tottenham Hotspur this week.
It was thought that Hazard was just putting other clubs on alert by saying he would join Spurs, but today his father has actually confirmed that his Spurs ARE interested in buying his son, although he emphasised that no official offer had yet been received.
Thierry Hazard said: “For now I can only say what Eden said on Monday on TV: Yes, there is interest from Spurs, and no, there’s no offer.
“The priority for Eden is one thing: games. Opportunities. It might be better to join a club just below the biggest.”
I like the last line saying Spurs aren’t a top club, but where does that leave Arsenal? Surely Wenger would promise Hazard an automatic starting spot if he’s fit?
He should promise him anything to stop him going to Tottenham!

we played sexy football for many years , now the spark in the midfield is fucked by the manager , no real class is there in the squad. we cant blame nasri , cesc for leaving , they were class players actually , they deserved more salary than shit they were paid at the arsenal.

Arsenal players are always secure in their positions which over the years has been an issue, the fact that they can player terrible game to game without threat of being taken from the team has always meant players like Walcott can invest his time in writing books rather than kill himself training learning how to shoot properly. Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs have whats called a squad something Arsenal know nothing about, its also why we are falling like led.

wat the hell is wrong wit every1..? On monday whn he said that he dnt want 2 come, the response was we dnt nd him (this coz v won on sat.!). I really don’t think AW is the man for the job any more. We are not going to win the league any time soon as 2-3 other teams are better than us and we wont buy the 2-3 players that would make the difference. Now them same players wouldn’t even give us a second look. With performances like that, when everyone is watching. Who can blame them.
I was hoping AW was going to have his happy ending of winning the league & CL but it won’t happen. His tactics, decision making in picking the right player is not what it once was. Some thing or someone needs to change.
If that’s AW accepting help or someone new taking hot seat, I’m not sure. Some thing needs to change.

Spurs has just shown interest like arsenal and several other clubs and i do not see anything wrong in that.The issue is taking a step forward to outdo other contenders and that is where arsenal is always at fault.Hazad has not said categorically that he want to join Totte so the road is wide open for the most attractive contender.Arsenal should try for once to buy quality players which Hazad is.Yesterdays defeat exposes arsenal lack of dept,such team can never win silver ware as i see no difference between Wolves,Blackburn,wigan.stoke,Westbrom and arsenal.
