Fabianski – Arsenal can still finish above Tottenham
The Arsenal reserve keeper Lukasz Fabianski has made a few remarks recently about wanting to leave the Gunners if he wasn’t given more first team chances, but in a new interview it seems that he is likely to be staying at the Emirates, and he thinks that Arsenal’s season is far from over.
Tottenham’s win over Aston Villa put them firmly in the top three, with a massive nine-point gap down to Chelsea and then Arsenal, but Spurs still have to play their top rivals in away matches in the second half of the season.
Fabianski said: “I don’t think there is a split between the top three and the rest because you can see already this season that some teams had a great start, but suddenly dropped points,”
“It’s a bit mixed. Those top three teams at the moment have a bit more of an advantage above the other teams, but there is still time, there are loads of games and it can all still change I think.”
Last season, because of their League Cup semifinals, Arsenal played nine games in January, but this they only have six. The Pole is very happy about that.
“It will make a huge difference,” said Fabianski. “The Christmas period was quite busy for us, so having only six games instead of nine in January is much better. You have more rest time, you won’t be that stressed, you won’t travel that much, it’s much better for us.”
Obviously the big game for Arsenal is on the 22nd against Man United and if the Gunners can win that then perhaps there will be hope after all…

If wenger picks up pato or at least on top player ,than we will be able to finish above them ,,,,pato is just 25 million euros cause tevez costs that much wenga sign him up.

u are commenting that the only big game is Man United, but every game has 3 points only whether big or small as u put it. be reminded that wat arsenal need now is to win any kind of game they are playing further more it is very evident this days that no team can be said to be small. u only need to look at what Wolves deed to us. So if u are close to the boys remind them that every game now is v.big and should be taken seriously.

Pato will not sign for Arsenal.
PSG offered 29mil which was accepted, but Pato elected to stay at Milan. Milan have for now, only 2 out and out strikers. Robinho can be played as a striker however he is much more gifted on the wings. To sell Pato with no replacement would be stupid of Milan. As we can all see a deal for Tevez seems to not be resolved. Milan would only sell Pato when or if they get Tevez.
It seems more likely that Arsenal would sign one of the following based on rumours and price (which is what Arsenal is most concerned about – price)
Podolski 10-15 mil
Matias Suarez 10-12mil (Has been rumoured he has already agreed to sign for Arsenal in the summer)
Kalou 3mil
These 3 are REALISTIC targets, and in my opinion interesting players. If we sign any of the three I would be pleased.
I do hope we sign Cissoko. 8 mil is an absolute steal! he was signed for 15mil by Lyon….A loan would be best with an option to sign for 8 mil, incase he turns out to be useless…..though it seems Lyon want to sell and not loan

Our only chances of finishing in top four if we dont buy ALL the replacements we need is passing Chelsea or maybe (in a dream) man u. Tottenham and city have too good teams to catch. Guys get your head out of your asses, unless Tottenham get as unlucky as us and loose modric bale and van der vart they will finish above us.
Knowing Wenger we will get a dodgy left back on loan or maybe not one at all and then might treat us with a £3mil for Kalou. I think he will buy in the summer, but we wont be able to attract Gotze, or people like Pato if he doesnt spend now. Dont worry, about Spurs, next season they will be shit, they wont be able to up wages so modric will go to Chelsea/United and Bale will go to Milan/Real Madrid/Barcelona.

When did finishing above tspurs become a target, have we fallen so much in class that we are now making tot’ham a topic for discussion. We use to be a top two team and if we cant crave for that position, i’ll rather shit on wenger’s head than discuss shit. Wenger must be told to wake now and not wait to panic buy (another 4players on dateline) after another spankin from man united.
If wenger cant learn from pass mistakes, cant he learn from our present mistake. Chamahk is shit, Diaby is getting weekly pay on treatment table for years now, Arshavin is blockin the growth of AOC, Squillacci is a rotten shit twattin Miguel’s growth. We should let go of all this dead woods and fix were we lackin strenght indepth.
The money that goes on wages just waitin for buyers for this scums accumulates more than if we cut cost and let some of them just go free or at lower askin price. For its a case of penny wise pound foolish hoping to get big money on some of this players, imagine Denilson and Bendtner annoucing their exit yet no club was willin to buy.

@ pmjgunz7 it is not so easy as it sounds… There should be takers also(in span of 2.5 weeks)…;) Also we have not fallen to spurs level…they have raised a notch up towards the top 4 under ‘Awry …. with some great signings , smart loan movements…and most important retaining pivot of the team…. As much i hate them being a gunners… Them retaining Modric was a masterstroke VS us losing Nasri… Fab was always catalian by heart…so we may pardon that …

I believe its that easy, do you know we are not too far off Chelsea on total wages spent ( because we have so many youths earning
outrageous amounts and deadwoods earnin above £50000). So Aurijit wats differcult in pushin out the deadwoods and using this money to get 1 or 2great players.
And if you think that Tot’ham have gained a notch over us, then then that’ll be because Wenger has choosen to be reactive rather than proactive. So i’ll still rather shit on Wengers head than waste my time talkin about spurs’ position.
Mancity with all their classy player is no skin off my nose….wenger is. Wenger is the Rudder that determines which direction the Arsenal ship will land. He’s probably waitin for us to hit another iceburg, then he’ll scrap out4 more benayoun’s which he will still not use. The board needs to be sacked if they just sit and watch Arsenal not win any trophy. For me minimium requirement should be automatic qualification, afterall we pay for merchandise and matches so they (wenger and the players) all get paid. So they need to they need to understand that they are not doing us any favour by aiming at 4th, if they cant get a trophy and automatic qualification then the board should all resign.
We’ve pamper this boys too much its like they have no obligation to the club, yet its still this same players that will say they want to leave the club for clubs with prospect. Thats cos they know that the board dont nag them, their manager never shouts at them ( he’ll rather the referee), so where will the drive to want perform come from?
Fans need to hold the board accountable, that’s when the board will put pressure on Wenger to perform and Wenger will start demanding more from his player (not pamperin them like eggs).
