Fabianski asks Wenger to ‘resolve his future’
The Polish keeper Lukasz Fabianski is not happy being left on the bench behind his young countryman Wojciech Szczesny, and has made it clear before that he needs to be playing first-team football at Arsenal or he will miss out on going to the Euros with Poland.
Now Fabianski has revealed that he has had talks with Wenger to try and find a solution, and he needs it to happen soon. Manuel Almunia recently had a months loan at West Ham, and Lukasz was asked if he would be happy to do the same.
He replied: “Yes, maybe.
“I had a chat with the boss a few days ago and it was quite an intensive one.
“It was me who asked to speak although we will have a few more chats.
“I want my situation to be resolved in the nearest future because I want to play at Euro 2012.
“I hope Wenger will understand me and we find a solution.
“I want to play for Arsenal but if not, I will have to go somewhere else, even if it is on loan.”
There is no way that Wenger will promise Fabianski first team football while Szczesny is fit, but if Arsenal let him go out on loan does that mean that Almunia will become the reserve keeper again?

Get shot of both fabianski and almunia along with shea. then buy another more experienced keeper. there are plenty that would be prepared tp come to arsenal even as no.2 just for the chance of being at a top club provides.

for you fabianski you are a championship keeper at best and Poland’s no.2.

@ undisclosd n Temple. I culdnt agree more on other GKs dying 2 b no. 2 @ Arsenal n not wanting 2 hear d name aluminium or alumina or woteva dat name is. It really spoilt ma morning too. Ir was 4 dis reason i wantd AW 2 sell him or dash him out 2 any club evn if no money is paid, 2 smaller club as a token of one of our numerous charities we run or/and promote year in year out; cos i tot there mite b a void dat he might b fillin someday if he’s still here. I know dis is xtreme bt i’l rather go into a match witout a reserve GK dan 2 c aluminium on d bench. Still, we shuld nt b 2 fast 2 brush aside a James Shea as it was d very same way n age we discovered d boy Zes!, who has nw turnd out 2 become world class. Again it will give us more depth 2 av a world class GK 4 depth n stability. Still, promote Shea n let him learn 4rm d EPL’s most in-form GK in Szes!
Fabianski im my own myopic opinion is nt 2 diff 4rm aluminium. Mannone leads d trio if u ask me still, he’s nt really classy Arsenal!

Scezny is far better than Flappy handski. Flappy had his chance to establish himself as no 1 and didn’t quite cut it, so he must stop whining. Scezny came in, stepped up to the plate and proved his worth. What I like about him is he talks to his defenders, he let’s them know what he wants and what he is going to do. He provides a certain structure at the back we haven’t had in a long time.

Flabianski and the ‘spanish / england wannabe’ can come n do a bit of gardening for me….
and we can put a bid in for this great keeper i’ve heard about who plays down the road at Fulham…

Fabianski is a good gk though not as lyk szes.But if he wants out then sell him in january.throw out sloppy almunia in jan to any club.

Honestly i think wenger wanted to sell Almunia long time ago but couldnt get rid of him.
we have a bunch of useless players like squillachi Almunia fabianski and some more
actually with some optimization work we can have a better team without spending a lot

Are people forgetting that almunia actually saved us from what could have been a much more embarrassing defeat to barcelona in the second leg last season? I’m almost sure he got voted arsenal man of the match too on the website.Im not saying he should be our no2 but give the guy a break. He was the best keeper in the premier league a couple of seasons ago…

Fabianski shld keep quiet he once had d oppurtunity to be between d sticks as first choice while odas wia sittin on d bench waiting patiently 4 dere turn.he can leave if he doesnt want to b N0 2,manonne can fill d gap.as 4 almunia he shld go to nation wide.

i feel sorry for fabianski he was doing realy well before his injury he just needs to find his feet again a loan will do him good.

wojo is the only GK who can cut to play to arsenal at the moment if we sign 1 CB Samba/jageilka our definsive problem will be solve, need 1 decent striker like Podolski. rest GK sucks sent them home.
