Feyenoord look set to sign Arsenal starlet after loan period
Just after Sanchez Watt completed his move to Sheffield Wednesday yesterday, Oguzhan Ozyakup seems to be set to go back to the Netherlands to join Feyenoord.
The 19-year-old midfielder is looking to gain some valuable first-team experience and is prepared to go out on loan to do so. The Dutchman also revealed that he was very close to joining Feyenoord in the summer and is hoping that Arsenal can come to an arrangement during the transfer window.
He told Voetbal International: “The story with Feyenoord was very serious, we were very close.
“Why it didn’t happen is a bit unclear, but it may happen in January. But it’s not up to me. My preference is to atleast think about the Netherlands.”
After making his Arsenal debut against Shrewsbury back in September, the midfielder has performed well on a regular basis for the reserves and I don’t think it will take him too long to break in to the first-team. Feyenoord had done a great job with Miyaichi and I hope they can do the same with Oguzhan, but let’s hope that he doesn’t move there permanently!

This guy has serious potential, he is a creator of goals and a finisher of goals. He has become very influential in the reserves team, and a loan move is exactly what he needs. If he gets games, he will be in the first team not too long from now.
Also arsenal fans, keep an ear out for another Arsenal player making waves,
Alban Bunjaku. Very promising indeed.

he wont he just signed a new contract couple of months back and besides we have an agreement with feyenoord to loan them players, so it won’t be with a view to a permanent deal…

Anybody know what happened to the 2 young fellas we bought from barca? Bellerin and de moral is it? Heard nothing about them, plus there not in any squad list on arsenal.com?

@Gunner Nate its toral… they aren’t on arsenal.com cos they are still in the u18′s… they might get in the reserve squad through the season but i expect it to be next season…

@Travis Bickle i hear that he has an attitude problem, but nothing much and it can be sorted out under arsene wenger… big big talent… also aneke joined stevenage on loan, a guy certainly worth mentioning, has an almost telepathical understanding with afobe… strong powerful midfielder who can shoot and create goals as well… very gifted… look forward to seeing him…
