French Star Rules Out Move To The Emirates
A player that has been continually linked with a move to the Emirates this coming January is Marvin Martin of French Ligue 1 side Sochaux, but the player himself has ruled out such a move.
Martin signed a new contract at Sochaux last month, but that has not stopped the rumours circulating that Arsene Wenger would try again to sign the 23 year-old once the transfer window reopens in January, but Martin will be going nowhere this winter if he is true to his word.
Martin has said today, “I will not leave this winter. I have started this season for Sochaux and I will finish the season in Sochaux. That is clear and I have discussed it with the management here. I’m not one to leave halfway through a season.”
We all know that words count for very little in football, but maybe the news today is a good thing and Arsene Wenger can now concentrate on signing the likes of Eden Hazard and Gary Cahill, and use the £40million transfer fund that he is supposed to have at his disposal on those two players, and have some money left over.

I doubt Arsene will get Hazard in January. He won’t even be eligible for champions league as he will be cup tied. Realistically big signings will only come in the summer and we all know arsenal’s history for lack of signings in january.

Most players in big leagues don’t want to leave in the middle of a season. That’s why I think arsene should wait to see how shaktar do in the champions league and if they don’t advance go for Douglas costa or willian in January. Two young brazilians looking for big club football. I hope he can prize away vert or van der wiel from Ajax and go in for Cahill. Any 3 of these transfers would be under 45 mil. Come on arsene!

Hazard will be at least 30 million, but whatever we offer Real could double, so it all depends on his own personal choice. I would love him to come, but something tells me he would be a bit of a prima donna!

5 players in January and we will have a chance at winning a trophy and getting into the top 4. Those players are Vertongen, hazard, goetze, either ozil kaka or mvilla and lastly a striker like drogba tevez or podilski

“49unbeaten” im saying this cos generally top talents are not bought in january at afc. adebayor was unknown. arshavin was the only time during trophy drought arsene bought ready made talent. I hope he does get 1 of the stars we are talking about but im not confident of it happening in january

i don’t know why people keep mentioning m’vila. we already have 3 DM and wenger won’t pay 20 millions for a french player who’ll be our 4th DM. kaka or ozil makes more sense.
