Fulham are fooling themselves if they think they can get Arshavin for peanuts
There are three types of deadwood that I can think of. The type who you wonder what the hell you were thinking, the type you think, oh well it didn’t work out, and the ones you know are fantastic players and as soon as you sell them they will go on to be superstars and score hat-tricks against you.
Guess which category I am putting Andrey Arshavin in? We all know that he has got gold dust in his boots, but things have come to a head between him and Arsenal and he had almost resigned himself to leaving. I, personally, hope that he stays at the Emirates and shows Arsenal fans just how good he can be.
If we do let him go, however, I will be furious if it is to Fulham for the miserly amount of £1 million that they have reportedly offered. One? Are you frikkin kidding me man? Now that would be a bitch slap.
Maybe Wenger should tell Arshavin that he can join Fulham for free, after he gives his best for Arsenal for a season. If he does give his best then I guarantee he would not want to leave. Arsenal fans would take him to their heart in a second if he delivered some passion. I think that Wenger knows this and is using some psychology on the Russian to get the best out of him.

Please don’t ever call any Arsenal players a ‘Deadwood’
I and maybe I’m the only one that refuse to let any Arsenal players to be call ‘Deadwood’
Yes, maybe they are not good enough to play or wear an Arsenal shirt but to call them ‘Deadwood’ is an insult not only to them but also to all that involve in Arsenal, whether it’s the management, or to us fan.
You may ask why can’t they be call ‘Deadwood’ because the answer is, whom or who the first place that take them to become a Gunners.
This is why I hate when our own fan call the not so good players a ‘Deadwood’

When will people stop crying about putting him in CAM. You barely watch him in other games outside of Arsenal…he played in the exact position he does for us for Russia and he was a world beater. Its not about position, but motivation. So instead of making half-assed arguments, just understand that he no longer wants to play for Arsenal.

We are great and out patern of playing very unique as player are. Non of arsenal player’s any club can get that amount. If fullharm want a player of €1m they can go to filders team and select as much they want but I guess not even arsenal team at all. What a very big insult to price a whole captain of a country €1m.

Costs us more to keep his 80k per week on the books, around 4million pounds a year so if we sell him for £1million we save 5million. We have had no other solid offers just let him go and move on he’s 31 also

So now we say that we want to keep him and so on, but I bet same fans that wants to keep him, have been booing him. Shame on us fans or those fans that have been booing him. Put yourself in his shoes, you go to do your job and your coworkers, people around you put you down, and tell you that you are horrible worker(player in this case), how much excitment would you have? Would you want to give 100%? Probably most of you would leave your work and would never come back. Arshavin not only came back, but he showed some performance after that game, remember assist to Henry (first thing came to my mind). We are so good in judging somebody and calling them all types of different names, but we fail to support our own when they most need it. Shame on us fans, that we only want to be around our team and players during good times, and when hard times come to one player or whole team we come up with all kind of criticism, we are almost ready to give up being a gunner and put Spurs or somebody else shirt on!

Dont be upset I dont think their feelings are hurt, btw it refersin horticultural terms of the removal of unproductive branches to allwo resources to utilised maximally, allow other branches to grow,gives better shape more production,trophies.
