Gallas suffers another calf injury in France training session
The Arsenal defender William Gallas saved France’s blushes when he scored the equaliser against Tunisia this weekend, but suddenly he is in danger of missing the World Cup after limping out of a training session yesterday.
The French Football daily L’Equipe reported: “William Gallas left training on Monday morning. After several minutes of running, Les Bleus defender stopped and frequently touched his right calf. This is not the one which had been injured a few weeks ago and had questioned his participation in the World Cup. Gallas did not stay on the field with his teammates and he quickly returned to the hotel with a physiotherapist.”
Since his original calf injury during Arsenal’s season he made two comebacks, and both times immediately suffered relapses. If the same thing has happened again now is likely to miss the World Cup, and could also affect his chances of getting a new club for next season.
His contract talks at Arsenal seem to have broken down completely, but he may now come to regret not agreeing to Arsenal’s terms last month…..

Reason why its time for us to move on, can’t put faith in a 33 year old CB that gets injured all the time.
Oh well….
I hope we don’t extend his contract.
Hes a great centre back but this is getting ridicolous.
I’m already past Gallas, don’t know why Arsene is still stuck on him, i guess he doesn’t want to splash on a younger stronger defender. Trying to save some money aye? No wonder Gallas won’t sign an extension, they probably pinching pennies in it too. We should have replaced him by now, why is Gallas still in Arsenal news??? The board is hoping he signs their 1 year extension so as not to sign another CB.
