Gary Cahill Looks Set For London Move – But Not To Arsenal!
Throughout the summer one name kept cropping up when the words transfer and Arsenal were mentioned in the same breath. That name was Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill. The transfer window may be closed, but the speculation does not stop and it looks like Cahill will be moving to London in January after all.
Cahill may be moving to London, but it will not be to Arsenal. Well according to SkyBet that is anyway. Chelsea are the early favourites to land the England International with 4/5 (1.80) available this morning. Arsenal are a big price of 5/1 (6.0), and at the same price of 5/1 (6.0) are Spurs.
Spurs are likely to try for Cahill again after failing on deadline day, and two other clubs who may be interested are Manchester City and Liverpool. City are available at odds of 8/1 (9.0) and Liverpool are available at 10/1 (11.0).
I wouldn’t let the odds available on Arsenal signing Cahill worry you because during the summer he was hovering around the 2/5 (1.40) mark, and even shorter odds were available in the days leading up to the closure of the window. So much for the bookies knowing best. It could just be the best 5/1 (6.0) bet available on Arsenal all season. Take those odds while you can.

Good job… He plays for a team that is bottom of the premiership and not as good as Per, Tommy, Kos!! I would rather have Song play there… He did a great job last night!!

c’mon guys…wenger showed to us that he not intrested in established english player like cahill..wenger is known as rather to develop an england youngster to be a star than buy the established one..this is because english player demanded a non logical fee and wages..who need cahill while we can get jan vertonghen for much more cheaper and more quality we need..

the youth policy has not failed completely we have another waive of youth players that are coming through that will be better than the first. Winning now is all that matters we have to wait for the season to progress and after a 8-2 loss to man utd the celebration at swansea showed that the players actually care.

It’s cetainly too early to make debates on January Transfer…. Yes rumors will be rumors. For now all energy should be at ensuring the best comes out of our current squard… there is better news to talk about for sure…
We have picked up a couple of wins now and we await Totenham… Hope we can carry on from the last night’s Champions league victory….
Was personally impressed by Arsenal’s Oxygen Chanmbers….lol…. He is only 18 and at this rate that kid will certainly follow the steps of Wilshere and cement a place in Arsenal’s the starting 11….

Arsenal for God’s sake whether you like it or not,come what may in this current 2011-12 season you are just going trophiless so long as:
1.Wenger is still your coach.
2.If you don’t fire and replace your current board which is very mean and economical including Ivan Gazidis.
3.If you don’t buy enough experienced elegant players during 2012 January’s transfer window so as to strengthen your squad.
4.If you continue with your youth policy of buying young unexperienced Under-20s players/teenagers who cannot make a team to win trophies!

malik@ i know cahill is strong and better then our Djourou and Squid, but in my view our problem is system not the players,every club has players like what we have best and not best but wenger never stop playing the one who cannot give us 40%.he played sendorous for 3 years despite knowing he can’t be arsenal player,almunia 3 years, djourou 3 years going n chamakh. we don’t deserve see all this same shits every year and every week.we spend hard earning money to see our beloved arsenal.since 2006 so many players has been changed we had best players in the world after titi and viera but nothing could change our team bcz our touch line and board dosen’t care about their own player.they sold our winning spirit for money.every one know and say arsenal is one of the richiest club in GB but money for who.

Doesn’t matter, i think that even ignasi miquel would be better than him in the near future. Even if we needed another cb there are better options like vertoghen. Anyway i do think we need a defensive coach.

I dont know but i v a feeling had cahill been from a different country he wont be getting all of these hype..is he that gud??is he the best defender out der??come on, i think he is a handiwork of british media..i v watched him severally to see what all the hype is aba..and to b honest he is good and it ends der,personally i dont think he is beta than any of the established defenders in the EPL like vidic,vermaelen,terry etc..its just the british media trying to create an elephant out of a horse..for the price he is coming for we an get some1 better,mayb some1 in the german league or italian league..even in the dutch league..and has any1 noticed how other clubs jump to scrumble for any player wenger notices???hahahahaha thats a compliment to wenger
