Giovinco leaving Juventus, and wants Arsenal move
The young Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco has been linked with a move to Arsenal for the last few years, and is now finally ready to leave the Italian giants. According to his agent, Luca Pasqualin, he is very keen on Arsenal making their interest “concrete”.
He said: “We have spoken to four teams in Italy regarding Giovinco.
“I have heard of contact indirectly regarding Arsenal but I have not received direct contact from the club.
“We are waiting to see who is formally interested, because he will definitely be leaving Juventus this summer.
“There are also sides in Spain who are interested, so we are looking to find a solution for Giovinco in the next ten days.
“If the interest of Arsenal is concrete, Giovinco would be interested because Arsenal are one of the top clubs in Europe.
“If I hear of something directly from Arsene Wenger or a representative from Arsenal we would put all our attention on to the situation.”
I think we can all safely assume that Wenger will NOT be making a bid at this time, unless he grows a foot and turns into a defender!

Also, even if he was a defender he’d need to grow more than a foot. He’s so tiny, he makes Andy Arshavin look like Peter Crouch.

giovinco will be a good signing wenger always talks about havng a list of 4 possible players wen it comes to signing so i assume the list looked something like dis 1:joe cole 2:giovinco 3: eljaro eliah 4: edin hazard. does anybody remember juve vs chelsea in the champ league a few seasons bak ? giovinco came on as a sub and gave the blues all sorts of problems with his pace and trickery. in my opinion if we still after a joe cole type of player den gio definately fits the bill how about an 8m bid for him arsene
I was following this transfer i pray wenger signs him coz we a shot of natural winger. The likes oft arshavin,rosicky,nasri,vela,eboue are all not natural they are lackin there position. Thas is why they are playing that position. He was a promising player and can boost the depth of our squad. Look the injuries have started and the like of diaby,denilson,djouru,rosicky and this would increase until we would have to line up a reserve squad and they have shown how they spoil things at the end of the party.the defence have seen a gradual change from bad to worst. no back up defender.no experience def.no shot stopper. We used to complain of depth in the squad but currently we are lackin a complete line up. Can anyone tellt me the squad we would play against barca (if we meet in the champions) and u know how much we want to revenge from those ladies.oh! Tell me am i the only gooner who watch the season when he lost hope before preseason?
For free, yes, for 8m, no. At least not this season. In 4-3-3 formation, there are 2 position contested by 6 people (arshavin,rosicky,nasri,vela,eboue, walcott).

guyz, maybe iam crazy but it seems like no one is paying attention to the fact that arsenal are having the weakest squad in pre-season than in previous years, defence is in chaos,wenger refuses to buy a competent goalkeeper, mifield and strikers ok but can denilson or diaby do the dirty work when song is suspended?
The Emirates Cup will reveal a total weakness, i mean absolute weakness of arsenal’s defense.
Arsene is mad! There is nothing he can prove this season, no matter what he thinks, no way is this team prepared to take on top oppositions.
