Happy Gooner Christmas! (Arsenal 2011 in Pictures)
First of all I would like to say thank you to my readers for making JustArsenal into one of the most popular Arsenal Blogs on the World Wide Web, with an average of ONE MILLION visitors a month. I hope I can carry on giving you all the up-to-date Arsenal news, rumours and opinion pieces for many years to come. Thank you all very very much……
So another year is over (well nearly!) and what looked like being an AWFUL season has suddenly seemed not quite so bad after all….
After the Gunners disatrous second half of last season, and our terrible loss to Birmingham in the Carling Cup, it seemed like a depression had spread over the Emirates caused by a total lack of confidence. This overflowed to the new season and I was priveledged to be at the Emirates Cup to see Thierry Henry’s return to Arsenal, but it was the great man himself that robbed the Gunners of winning the trophy by setting up the Red Bull’s equalizing goal. It’s a real shame that Wenger didn’t get his way when he tried to convince the ref to allow Henry to play the last 15 minutes in an Arsenal shirt…..
This disappointment was then compounded by a string of bad League results, although we narrowly managed to qualify for the Champions League in the end. The record 8-2 defeat by Manchester United seemed like the final straw but then Arsene Wenger suddenly became galvanised and brought in a shed-load of experienced (albeit mostly unknown) players at the end of the transfer window. And so the rise of the NEW Arsenal began……..
Anyway, I promised some pictures so lets have some shall we?

Why do you act as though Fabregas won’t be missed. The 3rd best midfielder in the world who will soon be one of the greatest to grace the Earth was extremely loyal to us. He only left to go to his boyhood club to play the best football and he even said he would consider returning to Arsenal one day.
Nasri on the other hand won’t be missed. Fuck that twat.

We’ve learned 1 thing and that is that nobody is bigger than the club nor fabregas nor nasri nor anybody .And it maybe that we dont see the best arsenal yet but that is what makes u a fan ,is that u can say u ve been trough periodes like this and u remaind loyal just as wenger was .

I would like to add my congratulations for this great website which I found by accident. Please don’t become over-commercialised and hard to navigate like the others. I just want to read about the Arsenal and hear want fans are thinking, not get bombarded with gimmicks. Go the lads!

I know this is an if and ifs don’t count for shit but IF we were to have beaten Blackburn and Newcastle and tied the spuds we would be sitting on 38 points and in third place after the defeat to Blackburn we were 17th now look at us if we keep this strong showing and sign a couple class players we will be fine we need class players to keep our class players! Love the arsenal and am a die hard fan couldnt imagine my life without the glorious red and white!
