Hill-Wood – Wenger could have been President, but i'm glad he chose Arsenal!

The Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has been gushing about how intelligent Arsene Wenger is, and he reckons that if he hadn’t chosen football, he could have been anything he liked, including the President of France!
He sais that Wenger is extremely intelligent, and recalled the time that Arsene dumbfounded a member of the House of Lords when he met him at an Tottenham v Arsenal match.
Hill-Wood said: “We were at Tottenham and one of my guests was my friend (Lord) Clive Hollick.
“He is a very keen Arsenal fan and a season-ticket holder. He was there and Arsène came for a cup of coffee before the game.
“Clive said he wanted to talk to Arsène about the EU and the harmonisation of everything in Europe.
“Arsène then gave a five-minute lecture on how bloody stupid the whole thing was. He explained how he came from Alsace-Lorraine and his grandfather fought for the Germans on the Russian front.
“But he said he was now French, because the French took over from the Russians after the war. Living on one side of the river made you German and on Arsène’s side you were French – and the two didn’t like each other.
“Hollick, who was very prominent in the Labour Party, said he found what Arsène said extremely interesting, admitting he needed to do a little bit more homework before talking to him again!”
He added: “I think he could have been president of France, or chief executive of Air France or Shell, or whatever.
“Thankfully, he chose football and Arsenal.
“God forbid the day he leaves. I will be in a box or something by then, or doddering around on my Zimmer frame!”
It is also an interesting view of Wenger’s childhood. Growing up in a pub with his father fighting for the Germans! Ooh La La!!

I like wenger, but yestardays game against westharm was disappointing. How can you lead 2-0 and finally draw? it disturbed my thinking.Arsenal they should learn how to defend a win.They relax at the end and lose so easily after hard work.
No doubt, wenger is an intelligent man. Sometimes overconfindence kill him. He could have make two changes when it was 70mins. Bring in ramsey and nastri to block the midfield.
