Hulk wants big move – but would he come to Arsenal?
Having been linked with a move away from Porto for weeks, giant Brazilian striker Hulk has made such a move more likely after declaring his partiality for a transfer into a big league.
“The Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A are where people really want to play, where the stadiums are always full… If I had to leave for one of those leagues, I would leave happily”.
The player’s impressive scoring record – 36 goals in 56 games last season – does indeed suggest that he could be cut-out for a high calibre move but whether he would want to risk his seemingly flourishing career at the Emirates is debateable. Despite boasting stronger squads – at least in terms of confidence and consistency – Inter Milan, Chelsea or Real Madrid would at least guarantee him European football for the foreseeable future.
From Arsenal’s viewpoint, such a transfer would also be a risk, with the player’s attitude certainly questionable and his talent an unpredictable force at times. On top of this, one would surely not want to spend the probable £23 million needed for his services just to sit on the bench behind the phenomenal Van Persie. After all, isn’t that Park’s job?
Would Wenger be willing to part with such a huge chunk of his kitty for a player that isn’t guaranteed to bring positive change and could be an unnecessary disruptive and egoistical presence in the dressing room (a space in which half of the players wanted to leave in the summer)?

I told wenger to buy Rademel Falcao in the summer.
What a bargen that would have ben.
But no, he goes out and bays a player that he wont even play.

23 mil for hulk, it wouldnt be a waste. he could play behind or alongside RVP. about park, he’s leaving in 1 and a half year. so, might as well getting hulk before repeating the same matter on mata.

i like how he clubs one of europe’s elite clubs even though we lost all our glame in fabregas n nasri, if u can get him 4 only 23m grab him with both hands n run, with those 36 goals, their 17 assists n he was playing on the wing half the time, his everything we need, strong, technical, has a killer shot n brazilian flair, if his 23m don’t worry about hazard just take hulk n run

a few years ago we had the ‘beast’ in our team. That was julio baptista. Now we when hulk?? A rather prefer cyclops or wolverine. They are much stronger n powerfull. Yeahh

I’d extend your thoughts: Is Park really so bad in training that we are not able to play him as a second striker or a change striker?
Especially, when he has been phenomenal for his country. Isn’t this they way we (mis)handled Vela?

i so much agree with the board, if the rumors is true..
i ‘ll like to see the brazilian wonder kid at arsenal this coming season sure, because he’s still very young to achieve a lot in premier-league, so therefore, buy him is going to service us very well in arsenal, such as VANPERSIE by using 433 information i think that’s a very good idea ,if he really come to arsenal, and remember WALCOTT could be leaving arsenal next summer, but i doubt that, but i’m sure a lot could be leaving arsenal this summer.
just get us HULK…SILVA… M’VILLA…PEREZ(vilareal)…CAHILL…BENZEMA/ROSSI…/SAHA/PASTORE….(goal-keeper) SKELENBURG/HANDANOVIC….(right footer) ZAPATA(vilareal).i think that’s is okay for arsenal for this season sure….

Hulk wont be chased by big teams, fact is falcao was’nt.
Falcao ended up at Athletico who wanted to replace aguero and no one else came close to the figure they paid.
I dont see AVB taking hulk when they have mata, torres and Sturridge to complement the front line and not to forget lukaku, drogba and anelka. Its likely chelsea big spending days are over. they will want to bring modric in january.
what may happen is chelsea goes for a winger like hazard or gotze.

Porto is not gonna let him leave for just 23m, if that little moeny is enough then we should get him without a second thought. In our current 4-3-3 (which i hate) he can play wide open like he did when he played alongside with Falcao. They were an unstoppable force. Considering VP is more versatile than Falcao we sure can play we could play both upfront in our classic 4-4-2, with hulk closer to the midfield. Only thing is that if Falcao was sold for 40m why would Hulk be cheaper?
