Inter Milan to offer €20m for Aaron Ramsey?
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has become a target for Italian giants Inter Milan according to reports in Italy today.
The Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sport report that Inter Milan are prepared to offer Arsenal in the region of €20million for the Welsh international.
Inter Milan have endured a wretched start in Serie A, winning just one of their opening six games. They currently lie 17th in the table with just four points from a possible 18, though in the Champions League they are top of Group B with six points from their three games so far.
Inter have a wealth of talent in midfield, but reports recently suggest that Wesley Sneijder and Ricardo Alvarez could be leaving the Nerazzurri in January, and it is well known that boss Claudio Ranieri is keen to add fresh faces to his squad when the transfer window reopens in January.
Should Arsenal wish to sell, and there has to be a major doubt that they will, they do have a couple of gems in youngsters Emmanuel Frimpong and Francis Coquelin lined up ready to replace Ramsey. Many Arsenal supporters would rather see them in the side than Ramsey anyway, despite the Welshman scoring the winning goal away to Marseille on Wednesday evening.
Ramsey suffered a terrible injury against Stoke nearly two years ago and many feel he has never been the same player since. With the amount of money being mentioned in Italy Arsenal would make a substantial profit on the £4.8million they paid for him just over three years ago, money that could be put to good use in January.

20m is quite an offer but the potential of a Ramsey, Wilshere, Frimpong midfield for the future is too tantalizing to warrant selling Ramsey now. Also Ramsey seems to be one of Wenger’s favorites. No way he’d let Rambo go.

Aaron Ramsey falls into the untouchables mould with Walcott, Wilshere and Chamberlain, they are Wenger`s favourite sons. You`re safe Aaron, but just in case, brush upon your Italian.

sell him and use that cash to land in Hazard arsenal has alot of midfielders we need to off road some to create a room for frimpong , coquiline and new coming mvila ,hazard, quocouff,………….. So please sell him he is not in the good form

20m for Rambo is a mouth watering price, but if after selling, will the board and the manager use the money to buy another quality player? Or just enrich themselves again?. B.cos, i would suggest, after the full recovery of Jack, he brings out the best in Aaron, its a perfect combination in midfield. We cant afford to lose another promising star like Cesc and Nasri.

No no no!!! We cannot sell Ramsey, that’s insane, in my eyes he has been good, yes with a few flaws but which player doesn’t? Ricardo Alvarez was stupid to refuse our offer on the last transfer season, I am sure he thought we were not good enough… I am an Inter fan in Serie A but Arsenal was a better choice I am sure he will want to come to us. RAMBO MUST MUST STAY!!!

Selling player like Ramsey will totally affect Arsenal, so think before you do. Ramsey is a player whose future will actually bright at Arsenal don’t let those club take away the glory of Arsenal because he is gradually improving now retain him. Up Gunners.

Won’t happen! But if it did, Arsenal needs to sign someone world class before they sell him. Not after than “run out of time” like they did with Csec and Nasri. Buy before you sell. I hear all the time that we’re in an excellent finical position so we should be able to do that no worries.

Ramsey is absolutely critical to Arsenal’s future. i’m dreaming of how good a ramsey–wilshere–frimpong/coquelin midfield will be in 2 years. even if we get gotze i dont see it as a reason to offload ramsey. braca are stronger this year because of fab4 even though they have iniesta–xavi–busquets. i rest my case.

£20m… It sounds a lot but what would it get us that would help our squad THAT much? Ramsey has settled in so well and looks to be back to his best (or at least nearing it) so I think it would be stupid to cash in and bring in a stranger to the squad when we have a perfectly capable Welshman in our ranks already.

I like Ramsey, I would not want us to sell him. 20m is a lot of money and that is a good offer, but it’s hardly likely is it? Even if Inter did offer that, it would have to come down to how well he has played in the run up to that bid. If he’s been good, no way. If he’s been terrible and does not show signs of improving, consider swapping him for Alvarez.
All in all, I really doubt he will be leaving to Inter.

@gunners selling someone off because they are not in good form is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. A better way out would be to put them on loan… That’s why I don’t think we should sell Chamakh. He was perfectly good enough for Arsenal at the beginning of last year when van Persie was injured. He was getting regular playing time and his linkup with Wilshere was solid. When RVP came back he was pushed back to being a sub and his form dropped. If we played 442 or 4411 I bet he would be easily sufficient to establish himself as a regular.

Everyone shutup about Hazard. He won’t come unless Lille publicly announce they would sell him, and for Gotze he prob won’t come either, we need Ramsey. Him and Wilshere will baffel teams.
