Is Gareth Bale a faker or a miracle man?
While we are waiting for some confirmation on Cazorla, RvP etc. I thought we could enjoy the controversy surrounding the Spuds and their miraculous medical team. Gareth Bale was close to death earlier this week after the Liverpool player Charlie Adam had the temerity to tackle him during a pre-season game.
All hell broke loose, with Bale and Andre Villas-Boas accusing the Liverpool player of pursuing some kind of vendetta against poor little Gareth, because he had tackled him once before. Adam was accused of being a player who regularly goes out of his way to damage other players and cause them career threatening injuries. Tottenham released statements that Adam had failed to apologise and that Bale was looking at a long absence from football because of the nasty man’s violent attack.
Two days later, and Bale is playing for Spurs, running around like an overactive kid and scoring the winner for his team. So, obviously Spurs came out and apologised to Adam for smearing his reputation didn’t they? No, they are still angry apparently, but Bale has had a miraculous recovery because he is young.
Arsenal’s next signing should be the Spurs medical team, and then we could have Jack Wilshere back next week. After slagging Adam off to every reporter he could grab hold of, Bale then said
“People like that are not worth commenting on. He knows what he did wrong himself and just leave it up to what he does.” ????EH????
“It has been a rollercoaster and a lot of stuff in the media but I don’t pay too much attention.” WHAT??? You started all this STUFF in the media.
Maybe I am just being cynical (it is in my nature) but this all happened, conveniently, as little Gareth was being slaughtered in the media for crying off Olympic duty with team GB because of an unidentifiable back injury (oooh me back) and then turning out for the Spuds in America before the Olympic team had kicked a ball.
Tottenham claimed that Bale had simply recovered unexpectedly, because he is young. I claim that he has all the extra padding provided by being full of shit. It is one thing to get out of a competition you don’t want to play in, but to try to distract attention by slurring the name of another player is seriously out of order. The tackle was from behind but it was not hard or malicious.
I would not like to be in Bale’s boots the next time he plays against Liverpool or Scotland, oh no wait, he will probably pick up a 90 minute injury.

who cares!!! to small clubs player are at war. we are a club, with class, fan base around the world, 3rd most success full
club in england, and established as a member of the BIG 4 in the league,have a good history and are with the top 10 richest club and have a brand new 60k sitter stadium.

Bale needs to man up, Sagna got on with it last season after braking his leg… TWICE. When we played City at our gaff, Balotelli almost ended songs career, but song is a badman and just got on with it. MAN UP BALE, YOUR A PATHETIC PLAYER WHO PLAYS FOR A PATHETIC TEAM.

Get the Cazorla deal done and dusted ASAP plus bring in Sahin while Jack finds his way back. Sell Robin for 20+ million and use that, plus the rest of the transfer kitty to bring in M’Baye Niang and Javi Martinez and we are good to go!
