Is Lukasz Fabianski On His Way Out Of Arsenal?
The goalkeepers at Arsenal have all been in the news lately with Wojciech Szczesny being linked with a move to Barcelona, Manuel Almunia going to West Ham and now is the turn of Lukasz Fabianski, who looks set to leave because he wants to play more reguarly.
Fabianski was given run of games by Arsene Wenger last season and was close to being the number one with Wenger himself admitting, “I have shown many times when I believe in a player that I do not convict him on one game. I believe he will be an outstanding goalkeeper, one of the best.”
Unfortunately Fabianski was injured against Manchester City in the warm up last January, a game that gave a certain Wojciech Szczesny his chance and the rest is history as they say.
Fabianski is keen on getting games under his belt especially as Poland are jointly hosting next years European Championships and he realises he may well have to leave the Emirates. He said, “If my situation doesn’t change I’ll consider asking for a move. If I want to go to Euro 2012, the only way I can persuade the coach to take me is by playing well on a regular basis.”
The only way he is going to get a game for Arsenal is if Szczesny becomes seriously injured isn’t it? Perhaps it would be a blessing in disguise if he were to leave as it would push Vito Mannone up the pecking order. What do you think guys, let him go, but then who would want him. Its not like there were many takers for Almunia were there.

fabianski is another highlight of how wenger’s policy is stabbing him in the back, fabianski fu*ked up countless of times e.g. n we all screamed 4 his head but he remained in our team as wenger had faith in him, now u’d think arsene’s faith would be rewarded but the cu*t gets good n decides he will call the shots, cause his too good 4 our bench, well let me remind u Mr. Fabianski that if it wasn’t 4 wenger noone let alone the polish national team would know ur name ya ungrateful bastard! hope szczensy never gets injured so u don’t play 1 game 4 poland or arsenal

this is bad news guys wenger wouldnt let both of almunia and fabianski go in 1 transfer window.
Why not loan him out till end of season it will mean that his price will go up and just incase szezny gets injured we can recall him.
he is ahead of szezny in poland gk rankin and he wants to keep his place so its understandable he needs game to make it to euro 12(similar to kuzchak situation)

Yeah,I think Arsenal should sell all its current goalkeepers-that is Fabianski and Vito Mannone and remain with Szcesny,and then buy any 2 of the following elegant goalies during the 2012 January transfer window:

For sure before God Arsenal just needs to/should just FIRE/SACK Wenger NOW/TODAY and replace Wenger with either Frank Rijkaard or Pep Guardiola so as to be winning trophies year in year out/season in season out as from this current/on-going 2011/12 season because for God’s sake Arsenal’s style of play/game-style/tactics goes in tandem/ matches very well with Frank Rijkaard’s and Pep Guardiola’s coaching style/ tactics/techniques.
So Arsenal:for sure before God if you want to be winning trophies year in year out/season in season out as from this current/2011/12 season; just FIRE/SACK Wenger TODAY/ NOW and replace Wenger with either Frank Rijkaard or Pep Guardiola and believe me you will get VERY POSITIVE RESULTS out of this-trophies!

Wow, Fabianski is throwing toys from his pram. The guy should be quiet and realise it will get him exited from the club. Especially with Vito breathing down his neck.
Fabianski isn’t even breathing down the neck of Szczesny at either club level or international. Actually Fabianski should realise that the smile Szczesny has is him laughing at the toy throwing idiot.
Will he replace Stuart Taylor as 3rd choice keeper at Man City?

@J.LO,if any 2 of the goalies that Job Barasa has mentioned comes to Arsenal,no problem.Because all of them including Szcesny are elegant;what Wenger will and should do is not just putting just one of them as a first 11 in all games; instead he can be interchanging in all games,i.e in this game if he made vSzcesny in the first 11,the next game he makes the other a first 11 like that like that in all games so long as if none of them has an injury,what’s wrong with that?

You’re all harsh on the man. He is a good keeper. It is unbelievably hard to come in as a keeper and perform week in week out. Sure, he probably isn’t up to standard for an apparent CL club like Arsenal, but I hold no doubts he’d do very well at a mid table club. As a keeper, it is absolutely vital that you have confidence from your team mates and manager, confidence in yourself and a decent run of games. As he was beginning to gather this before his injury, he was doing very well. He’s 26/27, let him move on in peace because with all due respect he won’t be an Arsenal number one again. But having said that, a top club should always have a high quality back up keeper. I’m sure if he left in Jan and Szensy broke his leg in Feb and Vito came in for the remaining three to four months 98% of you would be jumping up and down; “Why did Wenger sell Fab?!”. Hold on to him as insurance until we find an experienced keeper. Even a 36 year old who is content to play out the remaining couple of years of his career as a back up and a mentor.

We were chasing 4 trophies last season thanks to Nasri and Fabianski.
As much as I like Szczesny, I don’t understand all the hype.
Firstly, he injured Fabianski during practice (well..)
Next, he let Newcastle scored 4 goals (not really his fault, but..)
Then, he spilled the ball (come on..)
After that, he got himself injured in Nou Camp (biggest fail as it gifted playtime to Almunia)
Other than the penalty save against Di Natale, his resume doesn’t look good so far.

Buy a new establish goal keeper will put Szc in fridge, this is what you wanted to see for a promising youth ? Or you assume the establish goal keeper willing to sit behind a 20yrs old lad and happy on the bench?
Keep Fab and bring some more from academic, I think the goal keeping couch are good to made this kids in the right way. We need another defending couch too.

we suffered flappianski for all that time and when he finally shows he’s got talent we’re gonna sell him? give him the odd game, szc could have 20 yrs ahead of him in goal give the guy a chance. besides at 15th place what could possibly get any worse? this seasons in the bin unless arsenal win CL or FA cup anyway.
