Jadson to be unveiled at same time as Fabregas departs
It seems that everyone and his dog now knows that Cesc Fabregas will be playing for Barcelona next season (except Arsenal.com of course!) and it appears that Arsene Wenger has been dragging his feet so that he has got his marquee signing ready to be unveiled at the same time.
Whether that will lessen the impact for Arsenal fans I don’t know, but to be honest most Gooners (that comment on Just Arsenal anyway) seem to be happy that the tedious saga is over at last.
But it will be good to see a talented new arrival, and according to Sky it is going to be the Brazilian midfielder Jadson from Shakhtar Donetsk. Jadson said on Thursday: “If everything goes to plan, I’ll have some news for everyone at the start of next week. Hope it works out.”
He is reported to be costing about £12m which will leave the board with a nice tidy profit, and HOPEFULLY Wenger will also have another Ace or two up his sleeve….

Rest on a defender then nasri sale total profit? I dont know much about jadson if I’m honest but I didn’t know much about nasri or fab before they came.. Just because Jadson is small dont mean its a bad thing, its not like we are replacing 6ft 5inch Fabregas lol he was small as well, I personally havnt heard much of him but im getting confused with Wenger lol I think anything could happen right now, hopefully he re-invests the money but im looking forward to the future of Arsenal FC, I reckon its bright

Don’t know much about this Jadson guy,but at least I know he’s been a winner with Shakhtar viz the Europa league or was it still Uefa cup 3 seasons ago when they beat bremen and has won the Ukranian league severally.He is winner and thats is important now.Players with the winning mentally,ready to work their socks off for our dear club.Gooners for life.

I’m just taking the positives from this, obviously loosing both players will be bad for arsenal but getting a work permit for ryo is a big plus and like signing someone since he hasn’t played a competitive game for us yet. And jadson could be great for us nasri was no one before wenger took him under his wing and made him the player he is now. I think wenger plays games with the media or try’s to throw them off course, I’ll be honest he confuses me sometimes.

jadson is like a brazillian gerrard. we need a cannon in our team. he would be a great replacement for cesc. and juan mata most probably going to replace samir nasri. for 25mil.
jadson 12mil + mata 25 mil + dann 8mil + mertesacker 6mil = 51 mil.
nasri + cesc = 60 mil.
we have another 9 mil. wenger going to use it for bryan ruiz. 13.5 mil. were going to be awesome.

Guys, if AW lets Samir go for free next season then it would be a horrible financial mistake.
In addition, what is the use of having a player who knows he is going to leave you the following year.
Remember what happened to Fabregas. He knew last year that he was going to Barca next season and as a result did not play exceptionally well. He was way below his potential.
I am really excited that they are leaving and regardless of the results this season, we have new players now that want to play for us. We finally managed to get rid of Eboue, Fab, Nasri, Alumnai, Bendtnar, Denilson

Never heard of him, seen him and I only really know about his team because we played them in the CL and eddie went there.
How hard is it for this club to get us a player we can be excited about… the sort of player you can gloat about having and get his name on the back of shirts before he has even played his first game!
I won’t say anything bad about this guy, if he sings or not, but i feel sorry for all our new buys. They simply will not be good enough and have so much to prove…. the fan base want world class and well known players with lots of experience – we get teenagers.

Jadson is not quite the “Super Quality” signing I was expecting to be honest and I’m not impressed with the fact that the season starts tomorrow and who will or will not be at the club has yet to be clarified, which just continues to fuel dissatisfaction amongst the fans. Regardless of whether Fab or Nasri were staying or going, why haven’t we already got a marquee signing? Somebody at the end of July needed to take control of this situation and get it sorted.

wenger doesnt make money for the board, they dont take a dividend from their shares. There is no point having players who want out. cesc and samir might as well go. U know that the difference between man utc selling Ronaldo, and our team crumbling is? Man utd have a team of winners, their youngesters are brought into play with winners and progress that way. Ferdinand is a leadervidic,rooney,evra,giggs,scholes etc etc. U know whtat the other difference is Ferguson has blooded youngsters into the main sqaud with players already with winning mentality, fabio,raphel,welbwck,jones etc etc all can learn from giggs,scholes,ferdinand,vidic,evra,rooney and others.
They are allready being groomed as winners,wenger just brings youngsters in for the sake of it every year he keeps bin youngsters,while letting top players go. We have no winning mentality,none of the players have won anything,hell the last person to win anything was clihcy and he left. Wenger seems to think you can keep on doing it with kids for some reason, without bringing in top quality experiplayers to help them. This method has proven to work, and why the syaing ” you dont win anythign with youngsters stands true” mark my works evry week hanson will say the same thing you dont win anythign with youngsters, and each year for the past 6 years its proven to be corr hell even the youngsters from project FAIL youth now want to move, because they can see wenger has become mad with an experiment. Personally I think that if Ramsey hadn’t of suffered his horrific injury he would be a prominent player in our midfield. So first choice Wilshire, Ramsey, Song centre midfield is strong. It’s the depth of squad, as well as, that missing centre back that worries me.
Anyone hear Wenger say that his squad is too big? …that might be so but not with the right players!

There is nothn wrong with Jadson tall or short afterall FAB is not a 6footer if thats wot makes a good mid fielder. But thats not the issue now. We all know that Arsene and the board have small hands and deep pockets. I just cant see a big name replacement for fabregas coming in, and I dont think thats the end of the world. We have adequate cover, its a centre back we are in need of. On Cesc, I am happy to see him go, were making a tidy profit off him, hes given us 6 glorious years, so good luck to him. Reccurent Hamstring injury for Fabregas unloyality from Nasri….We really had enough… Goodbye. We need devoted players who would be proud to wear Arsenal’s shirt players. let us get Edin Hazard for 20 million to booster the midfield as his combination with Gervinho was phenomenal in the French league. We will be left with 60-12(Jadson)-20 (E Hazard)= 28 millions which we ought to cash on a CB Cahill or Samba ( 15 millions) and finally a left back. Where do u guys get that nasri was nothing before wenger. Read up on what he was doing before he came to arsenal. He was one of the most important players for marseille at such a young age and won the player of the championat. I anything he has been slowed down by his move to arsenal. He was an amazing attacking mid and wenger turns him into a winger. Letting go of nasri will be one of our biggest mistakes ever. While his vision is not as great as cesc nasri in attacking mid gave us a more direct approach instead of the side to side. Last year he showed us what he can do in that position and in the box there is no one with his composer (not even cesc). Jadson and mata(great player) are not on the same level jadson. Every player we lose we replace with someone of less quality.

Sell Cesc and Nasri. That’s 60m. Then buy Mata, Jadson, Dann, Vertonghen and make a swap with Twente sending Bendtner to the Eredivisie and Ruiz to us. With Vertonghen we have a reasonably cheap, experienced 23 year old 6’2″ Ajax captain and Belgian international who can play as a centre back, left back and defensive midfielder. Why wouldyou not want him!?
I’d get Dann so there’s even less of a chance that we have to play Squillaci. And Mata, Jadson and Ruiz are obvious reasons…
Next season’s line-up being a 4-3-3 of Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny/Dann, Vermaelen, Vertonghen/Gibbs, Ramsey, Wilshere, Jadson, Gervinho, RVP, Mata.
Dann when up against the likes of stoke and koscielny when against faster and smaller teams. Koscielny has been brilliant in pre season. The only goal we’ve conceded with him on the pitch so far was Jenkinson’s own goal.

The club MUST evolve. Assuming Fab is as good as gone – there is no way to replace him like-for-like. Arsenal’s job is not to replace the good talent that leaves, but to make Arsenal the best possible team it can possible be.
That means improving every position when-ever and where-ever possible!
A football team is like a river, its constantly moving, and you can NEVER get the river back to how it was before – you can only move forward.
I truly believe we have – for the first time I can remember, got 2 amazing strikers (plus descent support players) – that’s a HUGE plus! We have Ramsey, Wiltshire in midfield the best young midfield probably in the world. Song is immense for us.
Vermalen is back (practically) – and his injury last year prob cost us silverware last season. Without injury – we even have descent Goalies. With have Walcott, who is electrifying at times. And Archevin def has the skills in both feet, if we can get the best out of him.
Yes I agree we need more strength in central defence- cover for Gibbs now Clichy gone, and experienced mid-fielder assuming Fab goes. If that occurs we will put the fear of god into our opponents – and Thats what we need to achieve!!!

WE have Ramsey, wilshere, song, walcot,Diaby,Rosicky,Arshavin,Miyachi, eight Players and counting….(academy groomed players inclusive). Please let some one tell me how many more midfield players do we need? How many Players can we play across the Midfield region at a time? Let us be realistic. Is buying more MIdfield players our problem. So what? Fabregas has gone and Nasri is going.. Who cares. We are strong in the middle, what we need is someone to partner Vamleen at the back and we keep Djourou and Kosceinly as back up,Then We need another striker to play along side Gervinho up front because VP will get injured 2 to 3 months into the season ( Charmakh is Ok but Bendtner should go to the reserve or loaned out). @wellingooner + @admin. like everyone else here i dont know whts going on in the inside, just going by what i have read. In Nasri case he does not feel that Wenger+management are doing enough to challenge and i fully agree with him. We can see that city is really trying to win trophies(not saying we should spend 100 mil btw) Why is it that to get jadson (will not be our best player) we have to lose two of our best players. Why not like someone said improve instead of trying to replace or in our case losing quality in each sale. All i am basically saying is neither are traders, they both have legit reasons to want to leave but are leaving everything in the coaches hands to show that he wants to challenge. why not take the initiative and go get a player from time to time to make a mark like we want it. atleast to try raise moral with the players and fans

i think at the end of the season when arsenal finish 4/5th wenger will say we are going to buy big in the transfer market but the truth is noboby will come because no champions league football would be bad for arsenal it would take years to recover these are the players we need

I’m not too bothered about the valued placed on a players head, some people seem to believe that if Jadson was valued at say £25m he’s a better player, but then they complain about over-valued english players, it can’t go both ways.
On the other hand I think I would prefer Scott Parker because it’s clear we need someone to slot in straightaway, not a he needs a season to show his true potential, Parker would be great value for money, a 2 year fix and would rub-off well on Wilshere, Ramsey and Lansbury.

I kind of see Jadson as a decent player to help out for a year or so since I see Willshere and Ramsey as the partnership for the future. Would be nice to see a marquee player come in. I would like to see a striker since we havent had a 20 goal a season striker since Adebayour in 2007/2008 since Van Persie always picks up injuries and Eduardo got injured, Vela and Bendtner havent taken the opurtunity and Chamakh is goal shy.

Arsenal needs a quality CB.subotic,kjaer,sakho,cahill,angelo ogbonna,etc are all good.they also having the resilient mentality to play in the premier league. I dont think arsenal REALLY need a central midfielder to replace fab.we have ramsey,wilshire and rosicky.i suggest buying a box to box midfielder to firmly control and bully opposition in the middle.a player who can pass a ball and as well spoil opposition rhythm.inler gokhan,moussa sissokho,dzagoev,andrea poli,yann m’vila,gago,palombo and parker all fit into this category.just a recommendation though. Long live arsenal

We may not be title contenders but were close. We don’t have the resources of the UAE to buy whoever we want and pay them double salaries. Lets get real, continue to build on the clubs firm foundation and strong fan base.

to my opinion wenger is no longer the right manager 4 arsenal,he cant find a solution after 6 solid years of misery, 4 players 2 force 4 their transfers is ok because many quality players have left but the problem is have they been replaced. so this is the time wenger should leave the club, as cesc and nasri are leaving.

Given that Le Prof’s plan was to elevate Nasri into Fab’s role upon departure…and Nasri’s coming undone in the face of huge wages – This position must be replaced with an established leader / winner. This can not be done by buying 16 – 18 year old players. At this rate, Wenger will never see his youngsters win anything (exit stage left). In the next 2 weeks we need 2 more players. A strong / tall / fast C-defender, and a more than capable play maker. And that is going to cost us – but staying in the top 4 is at stake. Champion’s League cash pays for both, don’t spend it and we finish behind Spuds. And that I can not stand for! Get it done. Splash the Cash Sam, please…

Good performance generally for the back four. we were poor going forward, sometimes run out of ideas. look at that breakthrough in the dying minutes that would have been 1-0 on a good day. we lacked creativity in the middle which Jack would have brought in. in all two more signings CB & DM arsenal will go places. Mata or Jadson both are good but Jadson is stronger on the ball
