Jenkinson – Arsenal are going to Anfield for all three points
The Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson is really looking forward to going to Anfield this weekend, and believes that despite failing to score in the first two games of the season, Arsenal will be able to take advantage of a more open game to grab all three points.
“Anfield is always a great place to play football, we’re all looking forward to it and we’re going for the three points,” Jenkinson said. “I was only on the bench last year, but the atmosphere and the stadium itself make it a special place.
“Liverpool are an ambitious club, and I am sure they will not sit back at Anfield looking to take a point. Hopefully it will be an open game and maybe that will be of benefit to us because it will open things up a bit.
“It would be a huge statement of intent to win there. Liverpool are a big club but we are just focused on our own game, and hopefully we will execute as we need to and get the three points.”
Liverpool have hardly had the best start to the season either, but they were unlucky not to beat the Champions Man City last weekend. A trip to Anfield will definitely give Arsenal fans a chance to see if the Gunners really can challenge for the title. Nothing less that three points will be enough right now……..

2-1 arsenal.

Giroud put your boots on the right feet, lace them up and score some goals. Now the disppointment of the transfer has ended, we must get out there and show everybody we mean business!!! Diaby, needs to be quicker passing the ball, Gervinho better with the final ball and Walcott shoot between the sticks.
Come on Arsenal!!!

And if we don’t get all 3 points MASSIVE fail. 2 or 3 ppints from 3 games it’s just not good enough

This chap is deluded. Did he not watch Liverpool tear City apart last week? Did he not understand how dismally uncreative AFC were against Stoke? As an AFC fan of over 40 years I predict 3 -1 tomorrow at Anfield. You can see where Liverpools goals will come from but I honestly have no idea where Arsenal will get goals from. Wenger has said we should trust him and the board and I totally agree. BUT on that basis, if they mess up, they have to accept that the mistake is theirs. I can’t believe Spuds got Dempsey for 6 mil and we paid 11 mil for Giroud…….I will be the first to eat humble pie if Wenger proves me wrong but I expect silverware from him this season and not the capital one cup. Otherwise I would like to see him and Gazidis dismissed.
Opinions divided. What do you think?

Dont really care what deadwood was sold or loaned and off the wage bill because at the end of the day it wasnt reinvested to strenghen the squad, i was shouting out to bring in dempsey for 6m and now spurs done that, he would have been a good signing to add that extra dimension upfront. Another year of trading profit, another year of our best players voted by the fans sold, another year of the same excuses, another year of being happy to finish in the top 4, another year of deluded gunners saying atleast we got these rubbish players of the wage bill, but what you are forgetting its only good if we sell players we dont need if the money is reinvested but it wasnt, WE ARE NOT ARSENAL SHAREHOLDERS!!! WE ARE THE FANS, why do we put up with it? Our team is weaker than last year that is for sure

AW is an idiot, do we always need to want to finish 4th or 3rd position always?? Gosh I hate this Club right now.. For real Arsnal Su*ks…. I hope they got what they wanted all along just wanted to sweet talk us off to the end of the Transfer window and they got that done!!! Seems like that’s the only thing they know how to do best lie to the FANs of the Club. This is Heart Attacking Club. If you want to Die ontimely Death then you follow arsenal.. I support the motion that says we need to go out there to stop all this Wicked Board member and AW’s tricks of always wanting to fill their own piggy Bank.. Like he said (AW) they are paid to do the right thing for the Club.. Yes he got that done.. A well done JOB to keep on breaking we fans Heart.. But this most stop we need to go out there in proxy to show them we ain’t fools we have options we don’t want them no more.. We have the right to the club cause they are there to serve Arsnal FC cause we say so! We need to come as 1 go out there to protest! We will stop watching their damn MATCH start looking for a way they won’t gain and have money put in their piggy Bank, they have strategy of making money let’s make set a strategy for them not to make money too! They always still there each year just because they are making money year in year out… So we need to look for a way to make that stop.. We have the right to choose what happens at Arsenal FC.

Step back for a second and think people. Our squad is actually equal to if not better than last season. Yes, I’m disappointed we lost a couple of top players but we replaced them like for like. Who would you rather(you can’t have both) Cazorla, Spanish 3rd choice midfielder behind the two best midfielders in the world or Song( who I like)? RvP or the French top scorer AND a german international with 100 caps? It’s not doom and gloom. Remember also that the players we have from last year are now a year more experienced. Have you seen our defence this year? We look fking solid! I know it’s a cliche but we have diaby and Wilshire back too. New signings anyone?
I honestly believe that we are stronger, wiser and less reliant on individuals. I love Arsenal. I trust Wenger because he has never let me down. Yes I want trophies now but I also want my club to exist in 10 years.
Finally all I can say is that when the manager leaves (2014/15) and a new manager comes in, we finish 8th with a new boring style of football and we end up like Looserpool, you will all be back here saying how much you wished we played CL every year like when Arsene was in charge. I hope I’m wrong. COYG till I die.

The arsenal midfield is the key to arsenal winning the game 2moro, they have to hold off or break down liverpool attacks, and Liverpool are going to be coming at arsenal from the kick off.
Now the transfer window is closed, this is where you are going to see how valuable song was to arsenals midfield, he was arsenals midfield general, he bossed the arsenal midfield, with his shear power play from box to box.
For our strikers 2moro they are gonna need to have someone who can supply that killer ball in order to open up the Liverpool defence, long balls over the top are not going to do it for arsenal, they need to play it on the ground, the only player with the vision for that killer ball is carzola, and if he gets injured, arsenal are in big trouble, there aint no one at arsenal in midfield who is on his level, so the replacement will be just an average squad player till he returns from injury, thats why buying a midfield playmaker was a must for arsenal, but obviously wenger don’t see it that way.
Anyway good luck 2moro arsenal and whatever the result, gonna love you even more.
Spider…

The players do not deserve the stick, the person because of whom they are here must have it. Abusing Jenkinson makes no sense.
The rest of it same as neil.

This is no time to hold onto our egos. If anyone look at it realistically it wont be easy playing against Liverpool, and even more it’s away at Anfield. Liverpool have got Joe Allen, Nuri Sahin and Steven Gerrard in the middle so don’t expect to be a walk in the park in terms of posession like we had with Stoke and Sunderland. Even with Cazorla and Arteta in the middle, it won’t be an easy game. If gunners remember, Joe Allen who was playing for the Swans last season ripped us apart in midfield. I’d be content if we get a draw out of this as I’m not puting high hopes. The least we shouldn’t get ourselves into is a loss now.
