Liverpool to bid £10m for unhappy Eduardo?
The Sunday papers never fail to amaze me with their weird and wonderful Arsenal transfer rumours every week. Well i suppose they have a full week to think them up!
Today’s effort from the News of the World puts forward the notion that Liverpool have now set their sites on Eduardo Da Silva to partner Fernando Torres in their attack.
The reasoning is that Rafael Benitez is looking at every striker in the world, and Eduardo is becoming increasingly frustrated by the amount of starts he is getting at Arsenal.
They say he has only actually been in the starting line-up three times since he recovered from his injury, and with just 18 months left on his contract, he will want “assurances” from Wenger that he “features in his long-term plans” before considering signing an extension, and “if the Arsenal boss is not convincing, Liverpool are ready to pounce.”
This article makes no mention of Eduardo’s recurring injury problems since he returned from his broken leg, and also fails to mention his three starts in cup games, and his seven appearances as substitute while Wenger has been nursing him back from his regular injuries.
Now that he is approaching full fitness we can expect to see Eduardo start a lot more games now, especially with Nicklas Benstner needing an op this week.
We never really hear much from Eduardo on his state of my mind, but i’m sure if he really WAS unhappy, we would have heard something about it long before this.

Eduardo wont leave arsenal. Not after the club stuck with him through his time of need and to Liverpool of all places? I think not. Im sure eduardo would want to play in the champions league next season and liverpool wont be making top 4 this season so its a lose lose situation for him if the rumors are true, which i doubt!
Now that van persie is injured he has got a chance to prove that he really is world class striker. I agree with cujo, why the hell would he leave to go to liverpool of all places?
The fact that this piece of utter B.S. news came out the same day we lost our #1 striker to injury makes me laugh. So we are supposed to believe we will sell our 2nd best striker when our 1st and 3rd string fowards are out to injury. That makes sense doesn’t it. On a more pissed off note, International friendly matches are fucking pointless, and Italian football is just sloppy shite these days.
it a very good news for liverpool. At least now we’ve got a partner for fernando torres in front. but i’m very angry at cujo. he said we will not qualify for next year champions league. he did not remember last season when his was in the six position in the table and believe me: Eduardo will come to liverpool. (sorry for the my bad english)
Arsenal has done a lot for Eduardo and Rosicky.They will never leave us unless we want them to and now after RVP’s injury, we need him more than ever before…

Wenger is always praising Eduardo and he believes in him. He is not stupid to sell him for less money then what he paid for him. He is still world class striker. Even though he has not played so much this season, he still has managed to score few goals and make some great assists.
I think Eduardo is happy at club b’se Arsenal is still doing well,am sure he not leave the club for club like livepool.
