Mannone convinced that Arsenal can win the Premier League!
Vito Mannone has played almost every match in goal for Arsenal this season due to Szczesny’s injury, and he has been immensely impressed with the way we have played. So much so that he fully believes that the Gunners have what it takes to go all the way and lift the Premiership trophy for the first time since 2004.
“We have a good solid squad and I think we can go for it. I have no doubt that if we keep our focus and we keep our mentality, it’s not a doubt that we are going to challenge for the title.
“This is a club that is made for victories, it’s not a club that just wants to do well and get the third or fourth place. This club wants to win trophies and I hope that I can give my help for this team to do it.”
That is the kind of fighting talk and spirit that us Gooners want to see, and it is the attitude that you want everybody in the dressing room to have as well. Talent is great, but without determination and drive it will get you nowhere.
Mannone points out the spirit in this Arsenal team and the fact that they have stood fast in some very difficult games this season. He is especially proud of the way we dug in and came back against West Ham after going behind. That sort of thing gives the whole team and the supporters a massive lift and confidence.
Why not?! We have class players, a class team and a class manager! Maybe we need one more signing (llorente/huntelaar) to have an exceptional squad

true said VITO but we still need a class striker who can finish regurler maybe,jovitic,lowandaski,or any other world class. however i think arsenal should go for isco,and zaha for the future.

Szczesny’s still my NO.1 goalkeeper. Mannone’s positioning is shocking. The Big Pole reads the game better and plays with more urgency, getting to a ball through a good read, before Mannone has even identified it’s potential danger.
Szczesny is a lot more agile and athletic over the Italian. Honestly, Wenger is only using Mannone because we have to. Of course Wenger would say that the choice for goalkeeper is a hard decision to make – He has to instill confidence in Mannone – but we all know Szczesny is a lot more relaible.
