Melanie Slade – Theo Walcott's girlfriend gets a modeling job (pics) and will star in Harry Potter!
There is definitely no Arsenal news around to speak of, so i am clutching at straws! I have found that the latest news on the WAG circuit is that Theo Walcott’s lady has just landed herself a new job as the face of fashion brand Helly Hansen. I’ve never heard of them myself but apparently they sell sailor outfits? I’m not sure if they are for women or all sailors, but who really cares? Here is an example, presumably of the sort of clothes they sell!

Slade, who is the girlfriend of England and Arsenal footballer Theo Walcott, was selected following her strong association with both the fashion and sports arena, according to Helly Hansen. Melanie first rose to fame when Walcott was chosen to join the England team for the FIFA World Cup in Germany in 2006. Following her A-Level studies, Slade took a year out to support the charities Global Angels and ‘Treehouse’ undertaking charity races, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Now i am aware that people from other “serious” Arsenal blogs call me “The Sun” of Arsenal sites. What with my WAGS and trying to put a bit of humour in now and again. Well I have no problem with that, because if Arsenal fans are hungry for news about their idols, then i don’t see why they wouldn’t want to know about their private lives as well as their footballing skills, and whats wrong with having a laugh occasionally? And if you, the readers, really didn’t want to know, them they wouldn’t look at my site would they? Besides, it’s MY website, so I can write what i like, when I like!
But i can be serious along with the rest of them, but when there is no “serious” news around, i have no qualms about delving into the private lives of the Arsenal stars. So that’s why you are reading this!
So, young Melanie Slade is also going to “star” in Harry Potters new film. Here is how it was reported in (yes, you guessed it!) The Sun.
WAG MELANIE SLADE – girlfriend of England and Arsenal star THEO WALCOTT – has landed a role in a Harry Potter film.
Mel, 20, plays a friend of witch Hermione (EMMA WATSON) in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One.
She has two lines as the pair watch a Quidditch game.
Her part came about as director David Yates is the partner of Theo’s aunt Yvonne.
The film, based on JK ROWLING’s last wizard book, is released in 2010.
Mel, studying for a degree in physiotherapy in London, said: “I’d love to do more acting in the future.”
Now i don’t know what you think, but two lines hardly counts as a starring role, but Hey She’s famous for being a WAG (and a model, sorry) so it is definitely worthy of a whole page in the Sun, as long as they get to show you some pictures too!
But, having seen these pictures, I can’t help but think they she has a great future ahead of her in the modeling game. And it can’t but help that she is Theo’s girlfriend!

not tryin to dispute she looks cute. 3rd pic is a little too revealing tho. if i was theo id be worried. not many ppl hav the opp to be in his financial situ, so you would think his other half would see how lucky she is and act accordingly! maybe im old fashioned but id b uncomfortable knownin tht i could hav my pick o th ladies and th one that i choose could care less about th world seeing her nipples through a see through bra.surely that pleasure should be for theo alone? is it a case of her gettin more money4doin so?doubt it. theo’s loaded.so why would a young girl in her position, the world bein her oyster choose to act like a chav with cash? when she first came onto th scene i thought she’d b a different type of wag, hav a bit o class and a role model 4 young girls.wat a shame.
With her Physiotherapy degree she should be able to keep Theo tip top.
