Mikel Arteta – Arsenal can repeat Chelsea performance against Man City
Mikel Arteta has been an essential piece in the Arsenal midfield set up ever since his deadline day transfer from Everton. He has impressed many Arsenal fans with his footballing brain, accurate passing, ability to keep the ball and technical ability. Now, the Arsenal midfield maestro is looking to beat Manchester City in the big match this Sunday. What chance do we actually have to draw a surprise upset at the Ethiad stadium?
Of course, confidence and belief is something that Arsenal definitely possess. Szczesny has said recently that Arsenal will go to the Ethihad stadium and claim all three points. This shows that Arsenal are indeed going for the victory against Manchester City.
Now Arteta is showing that Arsenal indeed are filled with confidence and form-wise Arsenal are way better than Man City. Here are Arteta’s exact words.
“We beat Chelsea at their place, so why not repeat the experience against City? That City lost at Stamford Bridge last week isn’t good or bad for us.
“We must always approach games looking for the three points and that won’t change, even though they are first.
“It’s true that City have a great team. They are better than last season. The new players are more adapted and they are more familiar with Mancini’s system.”
Also, Arteta has given praise to his skipper Van Persie by saying with the Dutchman’s form and ability, anything can happen for Arsenal.
“Whatever you say about Van Persie falls short.
“From a distance I admired him before, but now I work with him every day I can confirm he is able to do absolutely anything on the pitch.
“He’s a vital player for Arsenal at the moment.”
Also, Arteta mentioned briefly about his own adaptation in the team. “Every day I feel better. And the most important thing is to have the coach’s confidence in my work,” he said.
“With Arsene Wenger I am learning many new things but I still think I can bring more to the team.
“When I arrived everyone was asking me about Cesc Fabregas and they compared me to him. If at the end of the season nobody asks me about him it will be because I have done well, but each of us has his own style on the pitch.”
Hopefully this Sunday, Van Persie and Arteta can put on a show for the team and we can leave the Ethihad stadium with all three points, eliminating the memories of our previous nightmare trip to Manchester earlier this season.

Aslong we keep another clean sheet.and i wont mind our result if we win ugly 0-1, aslong three points n another clean sheet.or we cn thrash them like we thrash chelsea but a clean sheet ;D
