More Injury News For Arsenal And Ferguson Is Relishing It
Wenger has more injury headaches to deal with before the big game against Manchester United this Sunday. Wenger already has to deal with the suspensions of Alex Song, Frimpong and Gervinho. While Abou Diaby and Wilshere will miss the game due to injuries.
It is now being reported by the Guardian that Thomas Vermaelen is in doubt for the game as well. Vermaelen was kicked in the ankle during the Champions League game against Udinese and is now suffering the after effects. In defence Kieran Gibbs is still in doubt while the same goes for Squilacci and Koscielny.
Meanwhile Sir Alex Ferguson has ridiculed the criticism Wenger has received over the past months. He told TalkSport Radio: “It’s a cynical world and supporters are far harder to please than they were 20 years ago.”
Speaking of the upcoming game he said: “The game on Sunday will be another stepping stone and they will obviously be trying to make sure they get a result, but we are in good form and we are looking forward to it.”
The injury worries mean Wenger will be more keen than ever to add to the squad and he will hope that a deal for M’Vila can be finalised soon. Meanwhile Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka are still targets.

Time ticking .. pls do it fast Mr. AW …
We really need re-inforcement this season..let’s not get carried away by one win against Udinese… we were fantastic that day..but we are stretched now in terms of quality players…. Injury would be part of Arsenal DNA ( don’t know why ??? ) – but we really need to get new players in Central defence, Left Back & Midfield in particular….
we can’t keep playing Sagna as Left Back… that would be disaster…
I’m hoping that by tomorrow we would have 1/2 signings completed….

I think the fans need to start playing their role regardless of what’s happening off the pitch.
Arsenal is a great club and will always be a great club even after Wenger has gone.
Come on Arsenal. Do us proud
Opinions divided. What do you think?

As a scavenger, Arsene Wenger usually signs fringe players a few minutes to mid-night on transfer deadline day when all the top class players have been bought by other clubs! So I’d be ssurprised to see Arsene sign a quality player or two before the game with Man U on Sunday. The sad thing about AW is that he does not realise his brain works backward; that’s why we lost Juan Matta to Chelsea. AW does not care about having enough experienced players and cover for his team for the 10-month duration of the EPL and other demanding copetitions like CL, FA Cup and League Cup. When the youngsters he is relying on are burnt out in January, Arsenal will once again be a non-competitive team — as is often the case — and will only be in the league to fulfill their fixtures.

first to leave ARSENAL was CLINCHY, who replaced him?=nobody
all we have was GIBBS an injury player, TRAORE could have been anothergood replacement but since join the club he never got serious at all that’s not a player.
second to leave was FABRIGAS, who replaced him?=nobody
all we have was RAMSON,ROSICKY, they are all injury players
ROSICKY happen to be the key roll to that midfied but he’s an injury player.
third to leave was SAMIR NASRI, who replaced him?=GERVINHO, he happen to be a great player during the pre-season.
i think he’s good, at least he keep moving ball ahead, but no finishing.
fourth to leave was EBUOA, who replaced him?=JEKINSON ,happen to take over the position, but i still believe that he’s going to be good. but that wasn’t what we expect to the board to buy
is being his habit of buying 16 yrs players, and that’s not good for now that every one competing for TROPHIES.
wenger buy us players this night.

Why do ppl (fans) think that AW has no clue??!? Some of you out there seem to think AW is purposefully being stubborn not buying. Don’t be so naive. He is a smart man. He certainly isn’t an idiot. So, cut him a little slack. He (the club) either have things happening in the background, or, he has his hands tied (by the board/powers that be) and is doing what is in his power to strengthen the team. I cannot believe this man is purposefully not bringing in players to save a million or 2. I bet if some of you were in his shoes, and saw a more complete picture and perspective, you wld probably be a little more supportive. Let’s just wait and see what develops before next Wednesday, and then assess the state of play. (Even if things don’t pan out as everyone hopes, we aren’t at the end of the season, at the bottom of the table. There is another transfer window, and cash to spend – wisely … Eg, anyone else think £35mil for Carroll by LIverpool was maybe a little overkill?). Have hope ppl, have hope.
Go Gunners!

Wenger will never cease to amaze me. With all the clamour for re-enforcement, he is still dragging his foot and pricing good players like he is in an open food’s market.
Am really getting sick of this attitude and i have resigned to fate. Whatever happens, i will remain a gooner for life with or without wenger’s good reasoning.
Cos Arsenal is Bigger than wenger and his weird principles.

I can’t help but laff. It’s just like academics: if u work hard enough, it tells on ur result. They say magic exists; I hope to see that on Sunday. However, to u all, passionate fans of Arsenal, I can say that everyone of us has shown enough support for the club, but our feelings have always been ignored . I am highly disappointed. Well, anything can happen! Live on, fans!

People still defending Wenger at this point are either fools or rival managers. Of course Fergusson wants Wenger to stay and Arsenal to be an after thought. If your relying on Arsene to sign players in this last 5 days your setting yourself up for dissapointment. And for this BS that its not Wenger’s fault but rather the boards I ask how the fuck do you know? The board has stated repeatedly that Wenger has all the funds he needs to bring in players. Wenger on the other hand won’t give us a clue on what’s really happening. As for us devoted Arsenal fans have No voice in any of this and it stinks to the core.

One rather disturbing statistic has just come to light.
Howard Webb, the referee on Sunday, has awarded Man Utd no less than 5 penalties in the last 10 games at which he has officiated at OT.
I wonder what odds for another at the weekend?

AW is only being afraid of failure. he thinks that if he spends 20 or more millions on players n they fail 2 impress in the 1st season, then he’s doomed. all he needs is a trial and error technique. arsenal really needs a quality striker (eye on goal), attacking midfielder with fabregas’/nasri qualities n a soilid defender. options could be Cahill/mertascker, hazard/kaka and Benzema. without such enforcements, then we should be prepared 4 mouthwatering defeats starting with the old trafford trip on sunday and another trophyless campaign once again. Damn it wenger!!!!

Phil Jagielka & Cahill are not suppose to be still targets at least one of them should have been a ARSENAL player by now as defence had become Arsenal’s weekest department from the days Martin Keown retired,BIG SOL moved on and Kolo left to join the Man City revolution and i dont even want to mention the loss of Cole to the blue side of London…. TICK TOCK the clock is ticking Arsne the transfer window has less than a week left b4 all dealings are to be concluded make it happen, its already to late 4the united game but u can make it happen b4 christmas at least!!
